1-800 number still says in transit for me. My CA says my car should've gotten off the Emden in Charleston and is due to be at my dealership on Christmas day. Glad there is consistency with all this.

Called my guy, my car has been released to the trucking company. If it makes Huntsville tomorrow, I'll have it for the holidays. Heading out of town, so a later delivery means next Tuesday.

Georgia and Birmingham may make it.

My car is at VPC according to the OC!!!! :rocks: 1-800 number still says "In Transit". That may be the first time the OC gave me info before the 1-800 number! I sure hope this is one of those circumstances the OC is behind and the car shows up at the dealer sooner than I think!

It's on the lot waiting for prep! I drove by there and put my eyes on it. Now can they get it ready before I leave town in the morning?

I picked up my car yesterday after work....it is beautiful. My CA called about mid-day and asked me to come in after work. I thought I was just going to do the paperwork so I could pick it up on Saturday morning. But my son had set it up with my CA to have it all ready with a big red bow on it. Plus he had bought me the mirrored BMW tag and had it put on the front. I was totally surprised.

The car drives great. I have been out driving it all day (in the rain). Anyway...I just want to give props to DrDomer for teaching me how to track my car.... it really did make the waiting easier :-)

Merry Christmas..... and believe me....when you get the car....it is worth the wait.

Well i picked my car up this morning and I'm speechless...the car is awesome and so far it exceeds all my expectations!! But I'm going to be honest...it's going to take a while to learn how to use this thing...the Idrive has so much to it, I'm really going to have to take time out to play with it (I spent today just enjoying the ride, didnt care much about navigation and Idrive ). Thanks again Dr. Domer for the thread!!!

Plan is to get car tomorrow. We'll see. I drop off my winter wheels/tires today. BTW... wrong thread... but the ASA JH3 with 20 offset work just fine with 225/45 Blizzaks. We had a thread going in the tires/wheels forum on that a while back. I'll post pics when I get it in.

Car is in! It's more awesome that I could've imagined. Jet Black is perfect. I have the aftermarket JH3 wheels and 225/45 Blizzaks on without any problem. Pics soon when there is daylight... probably Saturday.

We don't have a winter tire issue here in North Alabama, so I'm able to leave things alone.

Seems the the December run of the Emden to the US is over, here's a pic of mine at home, a bit better than the phone cam.
