Well, I was thinking about getting raceland, but as awesome as they are, I went with AR instead

ok, and they aren't like that. I'm telling you, the welds were not ground at all dude. I'd say I'll dyno test the dp's too, but let's be honest, I'm not spending $80 just for a baseline, and then another $80 to see the gains. If you are so confident that these are junk, I'll let you put your money where your mouth is and pay for my dyno's. Then you'll be able to wave it in everyone's face without just looking like an elitist.

Hahah! Pay for your dynos. Right.. I have nothing to prove. If anyone has anything to prove, that is people like yourself. And prove not to us, but rather to yourself. The way I see it, that's the only way you guys can sleep calmly at night... Like I said before: good luck to you. I really mean it! I certainly hope that you won't have to repurchase downpipes in the future.

Oh, I already now I will be replacing the dp's. A single turbo is on the list. These are basically my "kickback" to the community. I figure, for the price, I will gladly buy a set and see how they fit and hold up. As of right now....when I get em back from Jet Hot with the 2000 temp coating, I should be about $300 in and then add AR's gasket/bolt kit, whatever that price is, plus a little time. I think it's gonna turn out to be a very cost effective solution for a little extra power and a little less strain on the turbos. Seems like a win win to me.

What is with you guys??? It doesn't look like one fluid piece on the outside...you can clearly see the welds. each and every single bead. I will have plenty of pics once I get them back and I put together a thread. Just hold off the bashing till then. If you wanna poop on them after that, fine. Just please wait, because until then, you're just speculating on what I bought. Which does absolutely nothing for anyone.

I received my package yesterday and overall everything looks pretty decent. One of my o2 bungs is messed up, but it should be fine after a little filing. The welds look fine for what I paid. Overall Im pretty happy with my purchase. Ill upload a couple pics of the bung and welds in the morning. (currently 3am)

Looking at the photos, they do some grinding..who cares...they are under $200..not surprised how they look, but they do the job. Are people up under the car staring at the DPs? Also, get them coated for $100...good to go. Who cares if they break in 2 years...put another set on a go another two years..of course, you probaby won't have the car that long possible, so it doesn't matter. They are good enough for what they do.

No, they just do a good job producing downpipes. I still dont understand why you cant figure out that some people who pay a lot of money for a car want a product they can for sure count on. If you want to buy cheap parts thats fine, that doesnt mean everyone else has to.
