Just installed the power box. Have it set to map#3, love it. I can feel the difference and it is well worth the cost. The only hick up or problem I had was the smaller plug was a bit tight to get to and the first wire color says it is white, but it is actually yellow I believe. Other than that, fairly easy insall, great instructions and worth the cost if you ask me.

I know this is an old thread, i just bought a preowned e90 325i, its the same 2.5l version like in australia, will this pbx increase the horsepower & torque? any dyno results?

The vendor claims that it adds +-10 I think from memory? I wouldn't buy into that as all it does is it remaps your throttle map. IMO, you get a better/quicker throttle response which makes you feel like you have a couple more horses under the hood - its a placebo effect.

I have it on mine and it's the best money spent to eliminate the dead space. There's also other options you could look at such as pedal boxes and sprintboosters that can do pretty much the same thing.

Unfortunately there's not a whole lot of tune/piggyback options for the N52 compared to the N54s. Not sure if there's ECU tunes for the 325s that's been proven, someone else on the forum can answer this.

If you want to try and squeeze a couple more horses, go with an intake and exhaust mod.

It increases power marginally

Don't buy it for increased power though, as you'll only be disappointed, instead this PBX remaps the throttle and many people appreciate the improved response.
