And there they go! It's a race! Both headed to the Pacific Ocean! Maybe the Talia is going to stop in San Diego if it's scheduled one day later. I couldn't imagine it going slower so it can come one day later than us. Time will tell!

It seems the Talia does actually travel slower than the Triton:

Talia: Speed recorded (Max / Average): 17.2 / 16.9 knots
Triton: Speed recorded (Max / Average): 18.7 / 17.8 knots

Anyway I'm still rooting for the Talia to get in first

The Maersk Wind just made it through the canal not too long ago. Port Hueneme schedule has it coming in on 03/07, but the update on marinetraffic has it coming in 03/08 1 hr after the Talia arrives. Not that it is carrying bimmers, but its a good reference point since we're between both vessels.

No it's not carrying bimmers. Originally we thought it was supposed to have our cars in it, until we found out that it was on the Triton. I was using it as a reference point as the Talia, then the Triton, and the Maersk followed through the Panama Canal. The Maersk is supposed to get there 03/07, but it looks like it will get there on the 8th before the Talia. It was just an interesting thought since the Maersk was behind the Talia and Triton

Hey Eek, did you reprice your vehicle with March pricing? I repriced mine on the BMW site and my car comes out to be $175.00 less in MSRP than before the March pricing. This is probably due to the decrease in the DCT transmission from $1400+ to $450. Does this sound right? It's only $175.00, but still its a savings.
