Think about it as passive (FMIC) vs active (Meth) cooling. It doesn't completely eliminate the need for a FMIC as you do not spray meth all the time. What he means is the meth system is so efficient it can lower the IATs enough to eliminate heat soak when it is sprayed.

Wallet ready to go.

I'm glad to see these kind of gains --- which lets you have a "switchable" power source --- I dont need to cruise to work with 400whp --- but if someone wants a quick run on the way home, I'm 2 clicks away from 125hp gain. Sweet.

And this is perfect in my case where I'm trying to get as much power as possible without doing the front mount and the downpipes. This will enable me to get the car back to stock in less than an hour for when I need to take the car in for service.
Later on when I'm out of warranty I can do the FMIC and DP's. Kind of doing the tuning ass backwards. This will be a great option for those who don't want to mess with the dp's or fmic yet. 400whp in less than 30 min

I never thought of it that way, but I like the way you think.

the ability to be able to remove it all in one space in less than an hour for service is amazing.
plus 400+ power must be fun for DD.

Exactly this is my DD and I don't want taking my car into the dealer to be a hassle. Everything is right under the hood. You don't even have to get on the ground or lift the car up. This will be an awesome power package PROcede, DCI and PWM meth.

Using a 15% drive-train loss, those numbers represent 485hp / 505tq at the flywheel.

I understand this, more, where in the engine bay, lower down where it might get more mist, higher up in a low wind areas. If you have scoops will they blast moisture into it?

As I understand it, aquamist pumps are not waterproof.

My pump sits right behind my bumper and has been working 100% fine for over a year. I don't think there is an issue if they get wet.
