OK, in such case 400+ whp may take you far since many of the poser bikers shit their pants in the first turn. In case the biker knows how to ride it will be almost impossible to outrun him with a 335 independent of tune since a modern sport bike has a huge power-to-weight advantage. But the best is just to let them be and never invite to silly driving on public roads that may kill people. There is nothing to prove by walking away from a bike other than both being moron's and the craziest will win or may go south.

Last year I raced a 600 CC sport bike with my 335 on the Autobanhn in Germany. There was no speed restriction on that part of the road and the traffic situation was OK for a head-to-head shootout. The bike pulled well up to a bit above 200 km/h but after this speed the car was stronger. In case it had been a modern 1000 CC sport bike or a 'Busa it would easily have walked the car. But keep in mind that even on German roads with free speed it is not allowed to compete and it could be very expensive, and much worse if someone gets hurt. When the car runs good enough for your taste there is nothing to prove by competing on roads other than being a bit retarded. Perhaps hards words but this is the way a see it, no offence though since I know how fun it can be.

+1

I see more bikers want to run me than cars but I do get scared of bikers not because they are fast but more chance of things could go bad. I try not to race them.

No offense taken at all. I undertand exactly what you are saying, and yes most of the time one just let's it slide. But it would be nice to have the ability to just crush egos (granted all the conditions are right, racetrack, long empty road, etc). And you are right, I dont think a 335I will ever get to that point.

seeing as this car is a daily driver and an 07 AND automatic, i'd be hapyy with @ 345whp and 410ftlbs

it has 325 and 390 now.

looks like all i'll need is DP's, but i think i have maxed out my mods.

i don't wanna toss any more money into this platform, just as i won't toss anymore money into my SRT8 - with the exception of a nice mid range cam.

neither are race cars. i'll get a heads/cam 03 Z06 before i do anything.

I just want a 10 sec car... High tens or low tens doesn't really matter as long as I'm there... Then hopefully I'll stop and go buy a minivan...

And supercharge it. Lol

I am happy driving around daily with 400whp. The RB's make this easily so it also gives a peace of mind that you not boosting the crap out of the car. I think at levels higher than this it makes the car too exciting to drive around bends and on un-level secondary roads. So in my case its more a matter of what I and the chassis can handle at the point where I think its still safe.

The most I ever had in one of my autos was a Lightning built engine with a 21 psi thru a kenne bell and a 100 shot...748hp and 962ft/lbs that was okay for a daily but I want more!!!

I think a 450-500whp 335 would be perfect and liveable on the street if you dont drive like a jackass. When the time allows, jackass driving ensues.

for me, its when the car scares me and i'm unwilling to push it on the street. My current m3 is close to that point and once I put in larger injectors it will probably be enough......maybe......probably not.
