I don't think if another hot car will arise, Vishnu / Shiv will leave his customers stranded. Anyway, it would be a very uncommon commercial decision for a company to forget about the current customer base.

In my case, I also would have thought about AA but at the time I wanted to decide, you had no product. I ordered the PROcede and I'm still convinced that this decision has been a good one.

And no, I would not feel a lot more comfortable going with a reputable company who has been tuning BMW's and only BMW's for years. Somtimes it can be good to look behind the mirror just to see if there is something I have not been aware about

Eugen
That's the awesome thing about choices, in the end the real winner is the consumer. Congrats and enjoy your ride.

If you say so, it's ok with me.

Haha, I'm a self-admitted turbo ignoramus. I wouldn't know where to begin with the questions. But there are people on this board who do. Having techs from a couple of competing products respectfully discuss the matter would be much more helpful and save a whole lot more time for your techs than having several board members call up to discuss the same issues over and over. Besides, an open discussion helps all of us out, not just those who call.

Please understand that I'm not trying to tell you how to market. I'm cool with whatever approach you take.

Cheers.

Eugen,

I agree with you 100%. I have nothing against the small company and in NO way did I say we are a big company. Let me clarify this right now Active Autowerke is a small company in our eyes. We would be the last people to bad mouth a company coming into the industry becase we are still that company trying to prove ourselves over and over. We strive on customer service and that is our # 1 priority. As far as some of you opinions above I am just going off of facts but that is a whole other conversation.

Thank you for the kind words sir and I apologize for us taking so long to come to market. We are happy with the results and will continue to work to meet your standards.

No problem, I just dont want you to think that I mean our Engineers are too good for the forum. Its is not like that. Many of the answers that we feel are too technical we ask them to answer and then post the reply publicly. We will do whatever it takes to meet the customers expectations and make their experience with Active Autowerke a good one.

I mean, there were a number of ways that this car could have been tuned with the Xede/PROcede but we ended up with something awfully similiar.
Hmm I'm not so sure I agree with the above statement, that there is a variety of ways to implement an interceptor device in the 335.

Whatever you do is going to have to hit the map sensor for boost (there is no other way), and its going to have to his the o2 sensors for wideband feedback / fuel (again, no other way for fuel I can see). I don't fully understand the timing system in the 335, but it sounds like a basic CPS sensor setup. Assuming that is the case, I don't see any other way to manipulate timing.

It would help if you could describe theoretical ways to implement the piggy back devices.

Thanks,
T

Yes Terry, there is more than 1 way to implement a piggyback in the 335. And no, I'm not going to divulge how

Well the alternatives must be inferior or you would have implemented them that way. My gears are turning though! I'll see if I can think up some alternative routes.

does this mean that if I show up to Bimmerfest with cash on hand, I can have the ProCede installed there?

Or do I have to order now for the install there on May 5th?

Thx in Advance.
