Cobalt gearing FTL! LOL It used to be worse on the supercharger models. Soon as they got into 3rd and 4th the car fell flat on its face.

Thats almost the same as me, I run Map 2. Thats the map I was told to run by Terry. The car feels very fast to me and I love it. I am getting dynoed in the spring so unfortunately I can't tell you what power your at. Hopefully someone else can chime in?

I have JB4, Helix IC, BMS Dci, AR 3 inch catless downpipes, full cat back vanguard exhaust.

Good luck...this race is hyped, i think you'll smoke him.

Any car can be made fast as long as the wallet is right. If it is a built engine, large turbo cobalt; I wish you the best of luck... If it's some wankster with a turbokits.com turbo pushing 300 then you'll be fine.

It scares me that you don't know what race gas does.

I hope you win. My buddy had a Cobolt SS modded, ~400whp. I was going to give him a race but he sold his car, and I sold mine. And he wouldn't race my 550hp Vette once the BMW was gone, lol.

Told you that you would win
I got a run with an SRT4 neon last night(i wish i had a video) it had upgraded FMIC, TBE and bigger turbo vs my cobb stage 1 135i. From a 2nd to top of 3rd gear run i got 2+ cars on him.
Those things just aren't fast. Ive seen probably 10+ of them with similar mods run at the local track(1/8) and the fastest ive seen is 8.7 lol
You should go find some neons to beat up on

Wow that was a close race. Can you imagine what that cobalt will do to a stock M3? I sure wouldn't want to be driving the M3 unless it's on a curvy road. That cobalt is fast but your car is faster of course nice kill. Now get meth.

You call this a win? Really? The BMW "barely" kept 1/2 car length ahead of the Cobalt. In my book, that's a massive fail.

... oh, and street racing: automatic FAIL.

I agree. Those are surprisingly quick and just think the cobalt in the video wasn't even tuned to its full potential. I wonder how the turbo model would fare. But yeah, looks like Chevy has itself a sleeper.

That was a turbo model. And that's about as close to it's full potential as it can get, short of upgraded turbo and serious mechanical engine upgrades.
I consider this a good run for a non-meth JB4 car.

Hearing that high pitched squeal on the cobalt makes me think he had a boost leak. But it could just be turbo noise. Eitherway good run atleast you stayed ahead. Whats going on with those tips? Never seen them quite like that.
