Bump - headed to the dyno at 6PM EST. Track to follow at 8:30 PM. Looking for 480 wheel and an 11.6 trap or so to back it up. Will have results late tonight. I will try and get the dyno up before I hit the track.

Car wouldn't hold full load on dyno and misfired at 434/504 & 432/503 both times. Need to drop the gap on the spark plugs another 4 thousandths and ran out of time at the dyno. Sorry for the drama here but you all know this car plays hard to get. Time to re-gap and regroup. Not sure when I can dyno but will hit the track Tuesday to start putting times to this car regardless of dyno figures, even though I wanted to do it the opposite way. Can't hold power in third well so not tracking it tonight. It got late and the strip is packed.

Still impressive numbers for an XI... Nothing to laugh at and should put down some good numbers at the track if the gap fixes the misfire issue.

Went back to the Bosch after gapping the NGK's 7 different times. I have that circular tool ($1.50) which is garbage in my opinion. Couldn't get the gap perfect so I used a set of stock plugs that were brand new I had laying around. Dyno tonight at 6 EST.

I hope those Bosch plugs can take the beating, your ignition is pretty aggressive. When I was running that much timing and boost on the Bosch plugs I would misfire, I had to swap over to the NGK's. Goodluck today!

I've been using the NGK's and having the same problem, I gapped them with a wire loom tool and measured with the circle tool. I may go back to the Bosch plugs if changing my gap doesn't clear up some misfires at high boost.

Running full E85 so there will be no baseline.

I hope these stock plugs hold up also. Planning to hit the track and out down my best time, and revert back to a DD tune that's way more conservative.

Will post logs and videos tonight assuming all goes well.

I don't understand why you can't get a baseline running E85? Can you explain?

Because it takes a few pulls for adaptation or e85 is hard to comeby perhaps? I'm curious of a baseline too

It doesn't make any sense. You should be able to run stock boost and ignition, with a 1.3 fuel scalar and get a pretty good baseline.

Put down 449/515 breaking up again around 3,800. Dropped some timing and got the same result at 454/519. I have the first run on video and logs and will post it later. Stock plugs simply won't cut it. I need a cooler plug so the shop I'm at, PSI PROformance, offered to gap the NGK plugs for me and re-run it Saturday at 11AM. Kind of funny when you pull your stock plugs out and they are glaring red because they are so damn hot. Funny and scary I should say. Thank god I loaded up and stored 40 gallons of E85. My boy Yorty got me 8 5-gal containers full and hooked it up!
Sorry again for the spark plug drama but its Saturday dyno and Sunday track now. Whatever happens happens...

If it is at all possible, trying doing what was said earlier in the thread and up the fuel scalar on your stock rom and upload that and run the procede in map 0 for a baseline. I know it's a bitch to switch things around, but it would show your delta which is the most important thing to look at.

Next time please try to get a baseline. Like others have said you can do it with E85 no problem. Dyno numbers are kinda useless without a baseline especially if you're going for a record
