A small increase over what is required can help with WG rattle, but like stated above you will overshoot target slightly. Too much gain and you'll have severe throttle trimming problems.
I seem to be fine with throttle closures even though I am overshooting boost target by 2 psi along most of the boost curve right up to 5500 rpm when it gets back on target.

I do recall the +-5% "boost gain" police feature though. Sounds like it might eventually tune out the overshoot?

That wouldn't be any fun

I am still trying to determine what makes the fuel limit go away in the flash.

I am building my own BIN based on the FF BIN and will try a few of the changes. First go will be everything but the WGDC and VANOS changes. Despite the fuel curve not being right in my mind, the punch is gone with the FF as well...so I really have two issues that may not be related. I can easily change AFR targets, but I think there is a lot more to it than that. Especially considering the AFR taget main fuel tables are untouched for FF.

It would be much easier if shiv released the new maps. I guess for now you can look at the new manual car bin he uploaded if you want to compare it to the old one.

I'm also lost on how the fueling works since the fuel scaler doesn't get adjusted in the flex fuel bin...

I agree it would be easier. I will have to see what the newest maps are.

So my latest combo is Procede stage 3 (I am FBO) with OFT modified fuel flash. Basically I coppied all the tables except the VANOS and WGDC. Which really means all I did was unrestrict the DME to let the ProCede do it's thing without limitation (except maybe some WGDC depending on conditions...).

So first impressions (just went to run an errand real quick and wasn't able to log) but got it on the highway for where I was going. Before I could feel the car limit power and hold back. Now it slips the clutch pretty bad. It would slip a bit before but only at WOT when it wasn't really limiting the power a ton. Now I do not feel any power limit and it just pulls till the clutch slips which it is in 3rd and up. Even at mid throttle levels. So I tried to roll into the throttle and it wouldn't have it. So from the butt dyno/scan tool, it feels like the issue is resolved. But I will log on my way home and see what the data says.

In the mean time I already have a clutch fund. Let me know if you want to make a donation haha.

So you took most of the data from the new manual ecu file and copied it to your older auto flex fuel map? what about the procede maps. Did you just run those or did you modify them as well for the auto? When you talk about clutches it makes me think your running a manual unless your referring to the auto's clutches.
