CornHusker.....

If you see a black 335i coupe around town, I can show you what the JBS2 is about.

Or you can get a good look at what my 15mm spacers look like from a good rear view.

Happy turkey.

holy shiz i am starting to gain respect terry...this is a huge step!!!!!!!!!

So i must of missed something....Where have i been. This is actually a pretty decent post. I am impressed that people are acting like adults and letting there product speak for themselfs.

But back on topic, Who race who, and what are they using?

So i am assuming its V2 vs JB2R vs V1.47 vs Turbo Tuner?????

Please respond, and give us the outcomes!!!

So are you saying you wouldn't sell it for 500.00 if you knew you had 50 people lined up to pay it?

What if you could sell it for 2k and had 100 people lined up to buy it?

Your response should make the following points:

1. It's not all about money (to appeal to those who don't have alot because they always outweigh those who do)
2. The R and D time/manufacturing costs wasn't great enough to warrant over 379.00.
3. Just because it's a BMW, it doesn't mean consumers should get raped.
4. I (Cornhusker) am not a legimate source of info. (so you should take a poke or two, such as "this is unrelated to the topic")
5. I'm truly wanting to end the tuner wars (because you obviously fared well against V2's, and everyone's a sap for good faith)
6. Get others who we're there being friendly at the event to back you up.

I'm hoping you come up with some new one's though.

Honestly if you really want to have an in depth discussion about my pricing start a new thread...

The short answer: I took the recurring and nonrecurring costs, added in a profit margin that I thought was fair, and brought it to market. In setting the profit margin I considered where the final price would fall among the competition.

This is America, if you think you can do it better for less get cracking.

I was just saying that finally someone is trying to end this arguing thats online, if shiv never came online maybe a few more products would go out on time. People in general waste alot of time on the internet, when they can be productive doing something else...........
Sure, you can copy the harness Shiv developed. Then copy the firmware, software and maps from vishnutuning.com.

Perhaps this would make you feel good, I feel better to buy it and support the company and further development by doing so.

There's always an angle. I pretty sure it's just a holier than thou preface to a future possible shitstorm caused by some videos where a JB car wins. That way he can sit back while everyone else bickers and people will say, wow he's great. It's very easy to do when you win. Now if he lost all races and wants to end bickering, then props.

I doubt that's the case, but we'll see. I seriously doubt much will change. It is afterall, an internet car forum. I don't really care either way, it's entertaining, lol.

+1! When I spend more time checking e90post for the latest flame war than I do in the garage, there is a serious problem.

I knew I was missing some

8. Even IF V2 is better, you can't get one anyway, for a few months.
9. What if you aren't auto savvy, and you have a customer support issue, wouldn't it be nice to talk to Terry himself!

This is the best thread ever.

Can't wait to see the vids.

What octane did you run Terry? Was it a race map?

Is it wrong that I'm actually kind of excited for the endless entertainment the bickering in the video thread is going to give me?

We did what we could to make it apples to apples. Both on race gas, I had an extra 100# in my car, JB2R vs. WalkedU V2 2.02.

Hi Eugen, I agree with this. I know I made a few comments in anger, but I will not be enabling anyone to circumvent anyone else's intellectual property.

Nah it's not like that. My point is regardless of the results, lets stop the bickering. We're all on the same team.

Sod everything now, we know not to slate anyone, and the mature members wouldnt anyhow...

Whats the results... Did you run a M5 or M6? cuz they are the benchmark i feel for todays ''Super GT/Saloon Cars''. If you can live with these you can pretty much live with anything, lets remember M6 chase F430s and Lambos quite easily

Did customers race other customers (valid product test)? Or did a customer race a tuner who was driving his own development mule? If the latter, it would be like me challenging a NorCal JB customer for a street race up here on 580?

Still, I'm glad everyone had fun and I'm totally down for ending this tuner war. But let's do some fair comparisons, okay?

Oh yeah... you guy are ballsy with all this street racing stuff. It's now a felony here in CA. I never thought I'd say this but... take it to the drag strip

What wasnt fair about it? You saying that you and Terry are better drivers than any customer with the opposite tune? 335's being equal and v2 on one and jb2r on the other sounds fair to me. Maybe it does come down to driver but I wouldnt put anyone on a pedastal for it.

Now that I agree with.. at the end of the day both your car and my car really shouldn't be the bar, nor should our beta guys. What really matters is looking at how the average customer runs. Guys who don't and never will have the supporting mods us and the beta testers have.

no that either tuner can make an especial tune, maybe pushing more boot for that time only, or use race gas, or some other hidden mod.
