Picking up my first x5 xdrive on Thursday! so excited

I have been looking for a long time, drove the Lexus rx 350 twice, the 2022 Acura MDX, the Audi and the Range Rover. I kept coming back to fun drive with the X5 and finally found one!

E36 M3 (1999 sedan)
Loved that car. 5-speed manual. Last series that doors closed like a bank vault. Can't believe 240 hp could be that much fun.

An E30 320i was my first BMW car, after this one... I've owned a 320d E46 and a Z4 G29.

Great cars... but none of them like the E30 6L engine...

My first BMW was my first car, and the one I'm still driving. Bought it like 7 years ago or something at this point. I was 20 years old, been living on my own since 18, parents never taught me/allowed me to get a license. I had saved up enough money, found the car I wanted, and when my roommate picked me up from work one day we drove straight to go pick it up. I'm never selling it.

I am the lucky owner of a BMW E39 530d 1999 184 Manual, since April 2001, I honestly do not think I have a better car, at least in this life, and I have had E39 525tds 1997, BMW F10 2015, 320D E91 184 hp Manual .

I am from Poland.
My first BMW e61 lci 525d 197 km imported from Germany. Great car. After selling it, I bought a BMW 525i 218 km in Switzerland in 2006. The super car only burned me 11.5 l / 100 km. Now I have a BMW F11 520d. I am very happy with this car. Greetings to everyone and in the near future I will post pictures of my BMW

Stock for stock the E36, even though it was a vert, was way more tossable then the E46. The suspension on the post 03’s was aweful!

Love seeing all these E36s on here, they never quite get the respect they deserve. It's really great seeing how much you guys like/miss them.

I've toyed with the idea of selling mine to get the M2C, but while it might still happen, I'm going to try everything in my power to not make that mistake.

My father got me my 1st BMW (used) back in 2003, which was a 2000 328i. I drove it thru HS/College/first job, and racked up close to 200,000 miles. Would of kept the car but the steptronic stopped going into reverse 50% of the time. I got tired of pushing the car back into parking spots, so went searching for an E46 M3...

But I ended up with a 2004 Z4 3.0i 6spd in 2012 with 35k miles. I loved the color combo and the Z4 was the better financial decision at the time.

And recently in September 2021, marked 2 items off my bucket list:
  1. BRAND NEW
  2. M CAR

I almost settled on a 2022 X3M Non-Comp with similar options (same color combo but chrome grills/wood trim) but luckily the dealer had an unclaimed dealer lot allocation for the Comp in QC status with everything I wanted (extended shadowline, CF trim, remote start). Took it as a sign from above, put deposit down and constantly refreshed the vehicle production status for a week until it was mine.

2009 BMW M3  [10.00]
2009 E92 M3 in Dakar Yellow. I’ve been a big fan of M3s since 2003 but was never ready to take the plunge until this year. So glad I did, and found an example that was well taken care of over the years by a former member of this forum and a BMW mechanic. Edit: I had to mimic ZCP ride height spec to negotiate my horrible driveway.
