Jason...have all the stuff for the gauge install? I still have some taps, connectors, wire, etc. if you need. Also have all the links/documentation from Rick at Rix.

And your and Dave's Rev IIs will the be CANbus connection...let the cool shit begin!!

Found a way to retrofit factory Nav for cheaper than an aftermarket unit. Even got a technician from work excited to install it (not really sure how I pulled that off)

We came through the pass on highway 6 this afternoon...snowing like crazy and upper 20s. My wife nearly strangled me for taking the BMW and keeping the summer tires on.

Oh, and hit limp mode like 10 times yesterday and today. Always happened while going up-hill, cruise control on, about 80 mph. The boost gauge would show 0.5-1 psi for about 5-10 seconds, then limp. If I kept it off cruise, and coasted below boost, and then more gas and got it up to 4-5 psi, it didn't limp. Weird. Got really good at shutting it down at 80 and restarting.

PS - there is no power at all in limp mode...at least not climbing through the mountains.

i can see it now Jo yelling at you for taking the BMW. Lindsay would do the same thing. Limp mode...wtf? Get that checked. Moar BOOST.

Only a couple days. But I recommend against just bringing it straight in. If there are a ton of limp faults, and we cant produce it... Thats when things go awry.
