Reread darling. I don't like it when I first talk with someone and they ask me to meet up the next day. Asking me out for a later day, at least a week or two out is fine, prefer two weeks or so due to my schedule but I'm not going to connect with someone and then walk out the door to meet them that same night. I'm not ending up on an episode of Dateline or First 48.

See I personally never understood that... there are sociopaths out there that can trick you and get you to trust them w anything weeks later after talking / comforting you.

I feel like talking too long wastes time and keeps everyone disinterested after a while.

If someone wants to do something to you and bury your body... they probably could do it in 3 weeks just as well as tomorrow. lol

We were talking about this last night at dinner. My girlfriend deleted the apps as too many guys ghosted her for first dates. She said she'll just meet someone the old fashioned way and I just couldn't relate. I told her if a guy randomly approached me "stranger danger" kicks in and I get all weird.

Then again, it's not like I didn't date before the apps. Crazy how I'm not sure I want to go back to the old ways of dating. I dunno.

I am always upfront with the women I meet and tell them that I am just looking for a good time and have no intentions of ever getting married or having kids. Some women appreciate my honesty and we part ways, but a LOT of them think that they can change my mind by having sex with me. Sometimes we will have fun for several months and then they bring up the good old question "Where is this going?". I do my magic and turn into Casper when they bring this up as they knew it was never going to be serious to begin with. This is most common with women over the age of 30.

Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?

I agree, it is religion based for me, but I think that is one of the pretty good reasons why God commands us not to have premarital sex - I think then you are always comparing your current to a former, and never satisfied / happy. Or perhaps not "never", maybe too strong a word, perhaps more accurately, it is much easier for you to find a flaw in your current relationship leading to dissatisfaction.
