definitely get the usb bt tool, its very useful, and you can only buy it when you buy a jb3 at the same time, or else you have to buy the more expensive 3 vin bt tool afterwards when you realize you need one

I got the G3 JB3 with USB cable for data logging. I didn't go with the BT cable because my fiancé is the one who bought everything. She didn't know she wasn't getting the BT Scanner as well so I'm gonna buy a 3 VIN scanner like Kev said. But I can sell 2 VINs for $50 to about $75 each so I'll make back at least $100 - $150. Wanna buy a VIN????

How does the bt scan work exactly? I've read it here and there but don't really fully understand it.... Does it just clear codes so you don't void ur warranty? So theoretically it eliminates warranty worries even if u install jb3 and other mods?

it clears hidden shadow codes, from tuner detection and anything else, codes that you wouldnt see with a normal scanner.

It looks like it only blocks if I have an empty tank of gas, which I never let the needle below a quarter tank anyway. And it may block redline which I never go past 5500 rpm anyway, and 340 oil temps but I don't think I'll ever hit that lol
