Welcome back Pat...picked a great time. Only 40 mph wind and snowing...

It was so nice at 45 above, sunny...then back to January again.

Thanks. It is kinda hard going from 80 degrees and warm ocean water to 30 degrees and frozen water coming out of the sky

What do you guys think of this e-mail regarding selling my e46? (on cars.com)

Hello,
Sorry for my late response, i was out of town on a vehicle inspection trip. Thank you for your response. I have forwarded the features of your vehicle on ad to my client and after evaluation of the features of your vehicle, i am delighted to tell you that my client has commended your vehicle and considering the fact that we are running short of time, he has instructed me to carry on with the purchase of the vehicle without negotiating further.
I am therefore happy to tell you that I have concluded with my client and he has instructed me to carry on with the transaction. He said I should let you know that payment will get to you in a cashiers check of $21,250 which is a refund payment of a cancelled order earlier made by him. Due to company policy this check has to be made out in this amount to you because company policy only allows a refund payment on one cashier cheque, this amount is expected to cover both the shipping and any other expences that might accrue in the course of this transaction. So you are required to deduct the cost of your vehicle $13,750 when payment gets to you and refund balance $7500 to my client's shipper, who will come for inspection/pickup for him to be able to offset shipping & tax charges and other cosmetic repair costs. After payment has reached you and balance sent to shipper, the shipper's agent will come for inspection, pick up (of vehicle & signing of title papers). Please Confirm this and forward your....

Your honesty, understanding and co-operation will be highly appreciated. ,

He's never called me...just by e-mail. Not sure if I feel comfortable without seeing someone face to face.

Yea I know... Its just depressing to always spin the rear tires. I seem to drive too hard for my snow tires. Almost to the wear bars already, and ive only had them on for a few thousand miles

Ouch- Nothing like spending $600 in tires every winter...

I'm trying to take it easy, but it's just too fun to tear em up.

Its just the rears though! I think ill go wider next season, the fronts will be fine for another year, or maybe two.

True about the fronts...

I ended up with 4 of the same for winters...(they had enough issues finding 17s to fit). Would be nice with wider ones in the back...get rid of the extra inch of space between the tire and quarter panel. Don't think I'll be investing in another set of winter rims any time soon though.

I have staggered wheels (just using the stockers) but same size tires all the way around. But I am using a spacer in the rear, just for aesthetics

When I read this I didn't get a good vibe from it. When my wife gets home I will have her read it and see what she thinks.

It's a scam. Do not do it! They will get you to remit the $7k, and then cancel the check they sent to you. This scam has been around a long time, targeting those that are trying to sell cars.
