If u look on top of the lip the blue matches. So it's the light, but I'll wash it up and well see at the meet. If anything I'll hit up A&L, hasn't even been a year

the top of the lip is getting more direct light though so that should always be brighter

indeed, so when light hits the rocker it looks the way it should. which is why i said it looks off cause of the light not hitting it

no you still don't get it. if that were the case it wouldn't MATCH the doors it would be lighter. the doors and top of the rockers should be the same HUE, they are not only darker but more red than the doors which is why I'm saying maybe they got a bad mix on the paint and added too much of one color or not enough of another.

ive spent weeks convincing myself that theyve matched. i dont need you to unravel all of my denial in 3 posts.

ok i'll do it. if it is just the light, they will match in color when I fix the light/darkness of the section. then i'll boost up the saturation to show you the true colors.

ok

1st shot is with the fixed "lightness" on just the side skirt so they match.

2nd is enhanced saturation so you can see more clearly the color difference

3rd is a piece i made to mirror the angle of the door above it which is getting more light, as you can see the color is the same and all i changed was the exposure, not the color. if your sides were color matched well it should have done the same thing.



sorry man, i really don't think they're as good of a match as they could be so if you go back and get um repainted... i'd be happy to then, AND ONLY THEN, take some rolling shots of your car

I have to say that when I saw c-los' car in person @ the meet, I didnt notice the side skirts as being off color @ all..perhaps its the lighting

i realize this isnt the perfect angle, but you can get a good comparo of the sides vs the other panels with this shot, and they dont look off

you need to 1. find a head on angle for continuity, 2. use the raw unedited image cuz your vibrance enhancement (and natural male enhancement) is probably masking the small difference in color.

if you look at what I posted again... you can tell the side skirt is reflecting more red/purple tones than the rest of the car, which is all consistent with itself no matter what angle its at.
