So I was thinking for my hood painting...

jet black except the dome, fade into the dome, candy tint the dome. then have my front cf splitters faded towards the front tip jet black (so cf on the front tip, but as you get closer to the mesh grills jet black)

sound good?

well since you asked. you got any pics of this fading? it could look good but i also seeing it giving the effect that the paint is peeling off. (kinda like those gay decals that imitate you going so fast that its ripping the paint off)

nope, no pics..no one on here has it...its not a fade persay...just a gradual change from jet black to tinted clear? so its just just a hard line around the dome?

thats what i thought. kinda hard to judge how that will look perhaps some PS-ing is needed. but i think it would look good. only one way to really find out tho. i guess if it didnt work you could have them repaint it

Hey Will, did you get those HID Halos, or were you just asking about the fix? I haven't installed mine yet mostly due to no one having success with a pre March '07 car.

kyle

my lack of sympathy for your pre march 07 car and its inability to have HID halos overwhelms my jealousy for your ability to install an LSD because your differential isnt welded.

love,
alex

That guy had the exact same thread in the Turbo forums. You should try it out. Some people said it messes with sensors in the long run.

A couple people mentioned the O2 sensors a little past halfway down the page. Plus it looks like the link he provides is a referral one, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets paid for it.
