I'm pretty particular lets say and I never noticed it as standing out to me, in fact I never even thought about at all until now you just made me go take another look haha. Since everything is OEM it really doesn't stand out as anything un-ordinary or out of place, I would say technically yes they are a different shade, but I would attribute most of that to the texture in the trim reflecting the light less cuz of the pattern cut into it compared to the flat 'polished' surfaces on the knobs if that makes sense.
I like it, first image I've seen of it on an iS. Does the metal get super hot if it's been sitting out in the sun?

I'm planning to upgrade to an alcantara wheel in the future, I'll revisit this shift knob when that time comes.

Thanks. My mom picked up a F31 a year or so ago and I have been looking for a long roof to daily since.

My E90 is currently at the dealership for a VCG repair under the SULEV 15 year, 150,000 mile warranty. I'm currently in a 2019 G20 330i. I have to say, the G20 to me drives better than the F series. However, nowhere near the solid, driver feedback, heavy feel of my E90. My E90 is 11 years old, and it looks, and drives like day one. I truly enjoy it.

Basically, LCI's have the piece that the euro has - so burnish some teeth and it works.

I had a Q50 rental when my car was on the shop - sloppy and loose as my fathers Lexus.

When I got my car back, at first it felt so heavy. But I prefer the more engaged steering.

Same here. BMW's are now iPads on wheels. I was getting annoyed with all the bells and whistles of G20. Just looking for a radio station is a task.

Agreed. I dislike how it's getting to look like a Honda setup with all the plastic buttons. I bought a BMW because of their simplified and refined interface.

I like the theory statement that Tesla has put forth, as it reminds me of BMW of old. But I dislike their OVERSIMPLIFIED all-in-one screen. Texture has always been a thing, too.

I like it.
post LCI is super tits.

N52 or N51?
cause if it's N52 you need to get on that 3 stage manifold.

The wagon in this picture is my mom's F31, I was responding to another post. My wagon is an 07 pre-lci.

I agree with what the above posters have said about new BMWs. I was actually in the market for an F31 after driving my moms car, and while I liked it, I didnt want to deal with all the extra stuff. The big infotainment screens in newer cars are cool now, but in a few years they are going to look horribly out dated so I made sure to get an e91 with out nav. Maybe its just the fact I love vintage BMW's( I have 2 2002s, an e36 m3, and a 71 2800cs) but the e91 feels like the last BMW with some soul.

I actually enjoy my 2014 Honda Accord sport, more than the G20 loaner I have. The Accord seems to have a more sporty ride, and it's steering feedback is more engaging to me.

Removed the AC pressure line running from the condenser, back to the firewall and over to the other side.

There's a heat shield covering the washer fluid filler pipe and the AC line. This shield collect lots of dirt, the pipe was burried in sand and gravel in that area and the result was a hole in the pipe (friction damage I guess).

Waiting for the package with a new pipe so that I can put everything together and get my AC recharged tomorrow.

Borrowed one of the wheel spacers from my m3.

Before.

And with a 15mm spacer... I guess I need to order a set.

Seat gap fillers came in, now I got something to match the steering wheel cover! The grain of the material matches the rest of the upholstery quite well in my opinion. The thread colors are a perfect match to my cover as well.
Mind the mess, interior needs detailed

Swapped the GF's 335's suspension (rear shocks were completely blown) out for Bilstein B4 (sport, F+R) and Dinan springs with E36/Z4 bumptops.

It rides WAY better than I expected. Very comfortable (more than OEM) over bumpy roads yet surprisingly taught and flatter when cornering. I 100% recommend these for those with daily driven cars.

The shocks impressed me so much with the comfort aspect so that I am considering ripping out my Koni Yellows from the 328.

Yup, that's a lot of oil and dirt mixed all over the shock body.

Surprised they’re cushier than the Konis on full soft!

Good data point given your experience.

Ive only done some small stuff to my car so far, Im just trying to get it set up as my daily. I moved into this 07 wagon from a loaded out Grand Cherokee so I do miss nav and bluetooth a little. I didn't want a car with factory nav, since it can look out-dated, so I will use my phone for nav. I needed a mount so I found this set up on amazon, with wireless charging.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I ordered a plug to convert the flash light to a cig receptacle so I will run the power cord through the vent into the glove box, I hope.

As for bluetooth I picked up this little unit from amazon as well. It doesn't need charging and it automatically connects when I get in the car.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I need to swap the cig receptacle for a USB one, but I will get around to that. My black grills showed up last night, so I popped those in. It looks way better without the "chrome lips" on the hood.

Other than that, I have some spacers on the way and I have emailed someone local about set of style 197s. If they respond I will probably pick those up this weekend.

With the Tunai, set your phone volume to about half. Anything above that and the sound starts to get distorted

I had a 30ff code. The MMP 2" outlet I had popped off the front turbo causing the 30ff code. Note; don't just check to intake track, but check your outlets too when you get at 30ff code!!

At anyrate, I wasn't keen on how it attached to the front turbo, so I bought VRSF 2" Aluminum Outlets they secure to the turbos via the OEM v-clamps. These aren't popping off now!!!

I did rap the silicone coupler in DEI gold tape which is good up to 750 degrees. Better safe than sorry 😉

Attached are pics.

How many KM's did those shocks have on them? I'm thinking of doing a similar setup, but want to wait until mine are toast.
