FIFO was already enabled so I set the Rx and Tx to 8 and rebooted. Still no luck, same IFH-0009 error. I figure maybe it was a power thing so I connected the laptop to AC power to make sure it was providing enough power. Any other ideas? Thx |

Anyone know how to get around this error message when trying to code the Windows up function. It pops up right when I click the Car/Key Memory button.
The error says "GetIndividFswPsw" "Individualisierung nicht moglich" Anyone have any ideas at all? |

Read the instructions again, you are picking the wrong option, thats why you are getting that error...

it's when you press the "unlock" button on your FOB - "which lights come on". by default it's blinkers + angels.

I have read over the instructions 7 or 8 times and cannot see what I am doing wrong? Can you point me in the right direction? Load profile > F1 > F3 > Select Chasis > Select ECU > Back > F5 > Error Pops Up???? |

No, not the procedure, but the options you changed is "nicht moeglich" (not possible). What option did you change in your FSW_PSW.MAN file?

I haven't Changed any options. I have been getting this error message since I first started coding. I have been able to code a few of the options as seen on the board through the regular modules but I cannot access the car/key memory at all without getting this error message. What options could possibly be changed that create this error? |

I watched the video and I signed the basic functions menu that you are talking about. When would I change that function? The process I am using again is: Load profile > F1 > F3 > Select Chasis > Select ECU > Back > F5 > Error Pops Up???? At which point would I change the basic function? I tried playing around with the basic functions to get the car/key memory button to work and I still get the error. I cant even get into the car/key menu at all! |

As far as I know, Car Key Memory (CKM) is a holdover from older BMWs and isn't applicable to E9x. (I know his option gets "greyed" out in Progman when you select E9x.) Another thing to check is your FSW_PSW.MAN file. If it is corrupt or missing, you'll get this error. Even if you're not doing any manipulation, you must have the file present (it can be empty). |

Exactly,
Open your FSW_PSW.man and FSW_PSW.trc and delete everything in it and save it. If those files don't exist manually create them. I am not able to read key/car memory but maybe that's only on older cars as above says. |

E70, E71, E81, E82, E87, E88, E90, E91 E92 and E93 On these model series, all Car & Key Memory (CKM) functions are programmed directly in the vehicle (please refer to the section of the Owner's Manual headed "Personal profile": Individual settings for a maximum of 3 remote control modules via the display in the instrument cluster or via the Central Information Display) |
