My first BMW is a myth. I had to sign an order and make a deposit to “create” the myth. It’s an illusive dream that’s starting to have aspects of a nightmare. 😂😩

This one is my first…. Which seems weird all things considered…. 2021 X4 M40i. I've had almost everything else…. Chevy, Honda, Audi, Lexus, Toyota, Acura, Porsche, and now finally, BMW. Have a decent feeling this will not be my last…

1971 BMW 2002- bought new right off the dealership's showroom. Test drove it and bought it on sight. It was the first BMW I ever drove. Very few dealerships in those days, with only a telephone, yellow pages, and dealer's keeping low inventory thanks to Max Hoffman, cars were hard to find. $3,000 out the door.

Man this is a 🔥 thread y’all got here. My father had a 1977 e21. Sold it in 82 when my mother was pregnant with me for a little more space but the pictures he was showing me when I was with him the other day was super clean. I’ve got a 2022 530i in route from Germany within the next week finally after waiting 10 weeks and can’t wait. This will be my first Bimmer as I was an Audi guy

'09 335is blk/blk, KWv1s, and oem short shifter...maybe the best new car experience high I ever had, even in comparison to my first M car. That car only had one weakness, HPFP would blow periodically - unfixable design flaw unfortunately...

It all started with my parents. My dad was a car enthusiast. I remember my parents taking us new car shopping and they bought a new 1982 e21 320i.
It was an awesome car and I have many fond memories of it even though I was really young. Fast forward many years later, and I've owned - e30 325e - e36 325is - e46 330i - e46 M3 - e60 M5 - f80 M3 - f95 X5M |

My first just arrived and has 120 miles, so far so good. I have had a long list of interesting cars as well years are approximate things are a bit of purple haze after all these years.
1977 Toyota Celica Hatch back aka Green Machine 1980 Datsun 200SX biggest piece of shit I ever owned worst handling ever!! 1982 Ford Thunderbird turbo coupe- nice looking, caught on fire goodbye 1984 Buick Riveira- my dads hand me down sweet 1988 Pontiac Bonneville- not a great car 1990 Buick Reatta- first car w a touch screen loved it 1994 Nissan maxima- Great car 1999 Lexus GS400- supreme!! 2004 Audi A6- transmission went after 80k miles 2008 Infiniti M- very nice 2012 Infiniti M very nice 2016 Audi RS7- The King of cars, my absolute favorite but after 120,000 miles it hit the point of diminishing returns........ 2022- BMW M550I |

I think the shadow line/black grill is a almost must on that color. They just blend really well.
