That, perhaps someplace innocuous. I'd go for something a little more graphics oriented for the rest of the car.

You might have to take off the round rubberized lift point if you are already low.

i honestly dont think any of them fit under our cars unless we use small race ramps or those super long low-profile jacks that weight 100+ lbs

I got a rear section exhaust installed on my 2010 M3 about 3 months ago.
I got it done by a mechanic that my friend knows (paid $60 so i was like ok whatever)

Anyways, I dropped it off, went back after 2 hours to pick up the car.
It sounded great. For about 2 weeks or so.

I began hearing a leak from the exhaust, and checked underbody to see a clamp between the connecting pipe (of the exhaust) and X-pipe not connected. I figured out that the mechanic has heated (with flame torch i guess) the hangers to bend them to fit the exhaust.

I called the mechanic, and he is telling me he did not heat it (even though I see burn marks). Regardless, I don't wanna have anything to do with this guy - useless mechanic.

Now I need a proper mechanic who can do the job right - I guess he will have to heat the hangers again to put it somehow back into place and fit the exhaust right.

Please suggest a reputable mechanic who will get the job done, without charging me something like $200 for an exhaust repair.
Thanks a lot for reading guys, and any input will be much appreciated

Whoa don't go to Toys. Avo is a great guy and his shop is awesome, but I think they charge $175/hour or something like that. Go to Seb, although he lives halfway across the world.

agree with ken... this model isnt as low profile as some of the others out there... you might have issues if you are lowered. it'll probably be ok for now though.

my costco black jack barely clears the M's jack point pucks when it was slightly lowered....

this is what i use...

This is what I have! Not the sturdiest, but it fits my lowered car. I think I got it on sale for $110-$120.

ya i have that too.
i don't get how this is a problem? the one i just got says 4 inches minimum whereas this one ur linking says 3.5 inches.

the one you're linking, the one i already had, has quite a bit of travel before it even reached the jacking pad - how would the new one be a problem, even if lowered?

That is because your car is not lowered as mine. 4 inch wouldn't fit under my front jack points, rear perhaps, not my front.

If it's a good deal, keep it. You can always prop your car on a brick or drive onto a piece of wood or something. Not the end of the world, if a little bit ghetto.
