I went to the highly hyped Half&Half today.

Score:

Crowd: meh (can someone say: "eeeef oooo beee?")
Price: meh ($4.50...really??? you guys all ballers here...)
Taste: meh (it was not bad at all, but not worth price; boba above average)
Angling out of steep driveway: meh (doable but not very friendly either)

Verdict: 2 star; not impressed: it ain't a five star

the price isn't tooo bad. pretty much the same as ten rens/AU/teabar.
oh, and only enter/exit through san gabriel blvd to avoid the steep driveways!

Ah I guess cause you are a local so it makes sense for you. l4wr3nc3 always takes me to the 69c slushie or $1.50 milk tea places (which are good enough for me) so $4.50 is quite a jump.

hahaha, we never said we like the drink there. Everytime I just say half&half meet cause thats one of the few places I know how to get to other than LTBMW.

just ask Tam, I gave him horrible directions and messed up TWICE on the way to China Bistro from LT

ps. Quickly in RH has boba milk tea for $1!~~

and Dolphin Bay's pricing is more expensive than Quickly's IMO. But the boba milk tea is slightly better at the place I tried it at. Each location's prices varies actually, so it really depends which one you bought it at.
