I ended up buying a set of BBS GT RS 18s, and they really pop on the car. I'm running the Michelin all-seasons on the stock 17s now, as I travel down to Bend a few times a year (including today... ) and need the winter traction. Are you coming to the Puget Sound CCA lunch at XXX in Issaquah next Friday, Dec 28th? I'll be there with my E91. It would be fun to see them parked side by side. that may have been me...
I took delivery of a 2010 Le Mans E91 in March of that year. I used to work at Boeing in Seattle, and did a lot of testing down at Boeing Field. I now live in the Bay Area, and have seen a couple other Le Mans E91s here as well. I have loved my car, but have not needed the x-drive as much as I did back in Seattle
Mine is stick, I have since added black kidneys, carbon interior to the saddle brown, along with performance exhaust and air. Would love to get back to Seattle some day, maybe join you guys for a shoot Merry Christmas!

My drive from Seattle to Bend today gave me my first real chance to try the car in the snow. The combo of Xdrive and good tires (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S) are amazing. Totally no-drama. I'm sure snow tires would be even better, but it's overkill for Seattle. Question - how do you like the performance exhaust? Not too loud? Any highway drone? A PE is on my mod short list - I think the stock muffler is much too quiet... -Rick

I absolutely love the performance exhaust. I was worried that it would either be too much, thus making me hesitant to step on it in fear of people accusing me of owning a rice rocket, or not be enough and not worth the $$. But honestly it is a very classy, subtle tone with enough aggression to let you know it's there. I probably wouldn't have replaced my exhaust if it weren't for an accident within 3 months of taking delivery (ran over an ejected dump truck driveshaft on I-5, a long story) which required complete replacement of my exhaust system. With insurance paying for labor and replacement parts, I was able to upgrade to the performance for like $800. I'm not often outside the car when it's running, but when I do have a friend tap the gas and it gurgles in the low frequency tone, I am honored to be the owner

Enjoy! Funny… we just picked up an F30 for my wife last weekend from BMW Seattle (FANTASTIC Dealership) and they were practically begging me to trade mine in. Not many MSport wagons w/factory 18’s exist in North America… |

Haha, i can see BMW Seattle doing that...they're always looking for E91's given the demand. I like the dealership too, we bought our E53 X5 there back in 2008. Quote:
