I will post my dyno numbers with Wedge tune when it's done. Just might show more realistic numbers that can be achieved with a set of these.
Wasn't trying to trash anybody here. Just can't understand any logic behind it. Anyway, good luck with your 20psi dyno.
Seems like you keep saying "wedge" as if BQ is not a part of it. Not sure if you know that BQ and Ken work together....

Never dealt with BQ but has been running Wedge tunes for a while. Even run the beastly 15deg BB flash stocked with jb4 couple of years ago. My tunning knowledge is vastly based on what I have learned from Wedge. I have had nothing but positive experience for those couple of years. If it wasn't for him I would probably be still running a jb4. I was advised by him when decided on Hexons about fueling issues with this platform. Otherwise I wouldn't have spent $700 on fuel-it TBI if it wasn't needed.Actually I probably should have bought his PI kit for another 1k extra. Steve from fuel-it 100% confirmed the same concerns when running E mixes with upgraded twins. I guess they both must be wrong.
Anyway good luck to everyone tunning Hexons hopefully we get great numbers with them with or without proper fueling support.

I'm glad op is opting for a reliable daily tune that is not on the bleeding edge. I likely would go the same route to avoid dealing with all the added bs that comes with pushing things to the edge to maintain a reliable daily driver. Thanks op and looking forward to the Dyno.

Serious question, because i've never ran a Cobb AP.

Can Cobb only store 1 custom map at a time? I mean, I know with MHD when the time comes i'm going to order a daily pump map, and an e60 "kill" map for hoonigan shit and dyno glory.

Yep 100%. This is how I want my power curve to look like at 24psi
Btw it's a standard hybrid turbo DD map and it should make some more hp now with rr600 with bigger exhaust turbine wheel.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...1192348:dance:
Btw. 24psi is by no means a max effort with these. Maybe +27psi would be according to Ken

If you don't have a COBB AP already don't even think about going that direction. Just go with MHD

I totally understand his logic. Personally for me its not to crank up boost. Most the power cant even be laid on the road any damn ways. For me its to get rid of the annoying rattle while gaining power. 520rwhp for me is fine. I dont care what psi that is lol.

Standard hybrid turbo Mboost map by Ken runs 24psi
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...92348:dance:of boost with supporting mods. Surely his car is able to hook up somehow. That's when boost by gear will come in handy. There is no such a thing as to much power in a sports car. Just ask any racer

They do look great even without the thermal coating. If you don't mind what kind of support mods and tune are you planning to run with them ??? Also, what's your fuel and power goals. Thanks.

Trying not to blow up my XI drivetrain, so will see. Right now its a stage 2 and meth injection. I'll be adding port injection during this upgrade. Might need a stage 3 pump also, not sure. I'm currently running about 25psi on the stockers which puts out massive torque. I'll be rolling this back a bit and hope to make it up on the top end. Shooting for around 600.

Wow,you got nice support mods. I would check with Steve about the st3 pump. You will easily get +600whp on e85 without pushing things to much. I decided on st2 lpfp and TBI injection so most likely will end up around 550whp. I also placed preorder for the new MMP full silicone hot side outlets. Should gain some free power from them even on my limited fueling mods. You definitely should look into them. They made free 20-30whp with less boost even on stockers. Price is very reasonable too.

Man,pull the trigger. They look great and have a great costumer support by Wayne. The only thing is the wait time. 4-6 weeks on average.

Yeah, they should be simmular gain as they are both full silicone design. Great job man. Can't wait to see your dyno.
Btw. Is Ken going to Etune your car ???
I am thinking dyno tuning log and tune the map accordingly at same time in one day. Got to pay extra for that but I don't have a problem with that. Still cheaper than loosing your driver license while trying to log on the street 10 times to tune the car.
I'd rather give the money to Ken
