I just read that the Hawks are tryin to sign Keith for 13 years!! They want to sign him for the rest of his career! Awesome news, especially since they are so close to signing Kane and Toews. I'm a huge Keith fan. This is just a rumor on Yahoo Sports, but its an AWESOME rumor! haha

Anybody have thoughts on the Kings? Off to their best start in years and Kopitar leading the league in scoring.
I am skeptical myself, especially because the goaltending situation remains to be a question mark (as always)? The Kings haven't been solid in goal, well, in my life. Kelly Hrudey was the most consistent but wasn't anything spectacular and Felix Potvin's couple years around 2001 were decent, other than that no goaltending at all. |

I dunno, Keith seems like the type of player who is always out for the team. I dont think he would become lazy, I mean athletes are so competitive. I dont think we'd have to worry about that.

I honestly think they're a playoff team this year. They're young players have grown alot. Watching them I can totally tell they're much better hockey. They forcheck very well. They're fast and play really well through the neutral zone. Plus Kopitar is just sick.
I went to watch my Wings in Phoenix a few weeks ago and met my hero Zetterberg!! Here's a pic! Quote:

Yeah, I know what you mean though.
So I found out that my work is doing a silent auction for the United Way Foundation...there are a few items that I'm considering bidding on and they are: an autographed basketball by Derrick Rose, and most excitingly a stick autographed by ALL the Hawks, or a jersey signed by Kane!! Depending on what the starting bids are, I'm going to bid on the jersey or stick for sure. I know the starting bid for the basketball signed by d. rose was at $150 so the stick and jersey will probably be around there if not more. |
