please don't add your name on the list. I only give these pins to the names show on post #69 for now. I will set a dead line for pick up. Then I will see how many I have left after the dead line, and I will do base on first come first serve.

ok...bad news! Ivan tested couple pins. They don't screw in far enough! I believe the threads doesn't really matched up, so after 2 turns and got stuck and stopped. I going to wait a bit before I ask the factory to make another sets....Sorry for the disappointment!!

yewpp. they seem to crew in only about 3-4 threads then it just stops. i still was able to use it but was extra careful as to not "bend" the pin or cause damage to the hub.

shoulda taken some pics but it was gettin dark and cold and i was late for dinner.

Strangly, the one I bought from LeatherZ awhile back does exactly the same thing but it doesn't stop me from using it. A couple turns are good enough to hang the wheel. Perhaps the female threads in the hub changes progressively so that it holds the bolt better and allows it to be torqued down better??? Try to screw in a regular lug bolt by hand and see how far it goes.

u are not suppose to actually hang the wheel on the pin...the pin is just a tool to help align the holes

Hey Soni, have you had a chance to check out the pins again to see if they're good to use, or you're going to get a second batch done up?

Sorry I haven't get a chance to check them all, but Ivan checked 2 pins and both stopped after second turns. So I don't feel safe to use them. I am not getting second batch made until after CNY. If any local member wants to give them a try, please let me know. Pick up only!!

Maybe Ivan's not strong enough to turn the third turn. He is pretty scrawny y'know.
