hey i just spoke to my sa as well he said that he got it verified that it is at the port in jersey city he said he had them physically go out to make sure it was there, who knows, anyway he said that he is pushing for them to deliever it asap for insentives and obviously to get it to me and he said hes getting one more truck tonight and then trucks tomowrrow if it comes tonight i can have it tmr otherwise friday ugh, well im hoping

I'm in the Philly area and my CA told me....checked twice today and the screen did update to show 12/7.......

I'm disappointed, but I'll live, I did plan on 12/9 originally, but got hopeful when the Freedom arrived. Wish we could find out why some cars aren't released in 48 hours though.

Mine should be getting to the dealer tonight. I'm going to give my CA a call in the morning, maybe he will give me the good news. If it doesn't show up tonight, all i could do is wait, like i did for the past 8 weeks.

If any Freedom cars get delivered today or tomorrow, let us all know! Also, which model (is there any reason 335's are held and perhaps not 328's?). I heard 5's needed a real-time traffic module or something, and that held them? (VPC waiting for the parts to install) Again, would like to understand what the delay is in the 335 coupe if possible.....

Another possiblility is the options--please don't tell me it's comfort access (was considering not getting it) or BMW Assist (comes with premium can't help that). I don't have iDrive so it's not that.....

Well.... I just got off the phone with my sales guy again. He has the car! I believe it came in yesterday.


He want's to deliver it to me right now , this afternoon or tonight


But I'm really busy right now so I told him that next week works better for me.

My dealership just called me. My car is coming in this afternoon. I'm picking it up tomorrow if everything goes according to plan! I'm in Mass.

Well, I have to wait another couple hours for my SA to arrive to work, to know the status. John, comforta access comes from factory, mine has it already. 335 could have the Navi, BMW assist or reflashing the ECU thing. Mine does not have Navi or BMW assist so any delays could be ECU or any damage to be repaired. Otherwise if other cars were already transported, it should be on a truck on I-95 South.

I don't think equipment has much to do with delays. I have premium, sports, cold weather, navigation, and auto.

I think it has more to do with logistics. The closer you are the easier it is to fill up the car carriers. Remember, bmw's aren't the only cars in that port. They probably don't have enough cars to go that far south until next week.

I'm also sure that all of these logistics are controlled by software. I'm sure they pull the cars into VPC ONLY on the day that they can also load them onto the truck and have the truck leave (assuming no gross damage needs to be addressed which might take longer).

I just talked to my SA and they are waiting for the truck to arrive at the dealership. Depending when the truck arrives I might be able to pick up today but definitely tomorrow.

ParaDiddle, you'll be surprised at the amount of orders waiting for 335's on the 4 dealers in S. Florida. Interesting thing is that all cars being delivered or en route to dealer are 328's. We'll see.

Ok, got a call at noon that they thought my car was on a truck, could I pickup tonight. Well, as luck would have it, truck came and no car...so now the question is, will it arrive tomorrow? Pickup tomorrow? Or Sat.? Or not?? Only the shadow seems to know!

I saw my baby! She looks beautiful! I finalized all the paper work. The dealer is picking me up tomorrow at 2:30 so I can go pick her up!

So we know for sure now that the VPC did release cars, and also that a truck went as far as MA yesterday. On the OC my car shows VPC now, and also the dealership said their system shows released from the VPC. Maybe I'll catch up to you guys today, one can only hope. Post pics if you can!

My car never arrived at the dealership until around 5:00 last night. They were able to get the PDI done but now it needs to go through the detail shop. Will probably pick up sometime this afternoon or early evening. I went out and did all the paperwork last night so now all I need to do is pickup the keys. Car looks amazing!!!!
