Yea but they were probably running more boost by no accident. This is only on stage 1 boost made for a stock vehicle.

Full bolt on car should do low 12's without an issues so either the tune gotta change or driver change.

care to show me a 91 or 93 octane car running better? I am actually curious to see this. Keep in mind this is the slowest stage of the cobb tune.

Understood, it sounds like map is very conservitive and may need the stage 2 for Cobb to keep up

Keep up with what though? Can you show me any other car on pump gas that ran better? I am having a hard time finding one.

He didn't mention his 60 ft time. I ran the same et with only 109 traps with fewer mods. I'd like to see full bolt on no meth car run low 12's or higher mph on street tires. I think 112 mph with a safe a/f is decent for a full weight, street tired pump gas car.

Its possible, if some auto guy nails a high 1.7 60 foot and hits that 112-113 trap a 12.2 is possible imo. Hard as hell, but possible lol.

Clap, these idiots don't understand that these "amazing" 1/4 mile times are done on race gas, 17psi+ boost and drag radials. 12.6@112 for a manual on street tires is great. I invite this guy questioning your results to do better. On an auto definitely possible to do better though.

Certainly, "decent" but nothing you would want to post as some kind of milestone.

I don't think he was saying it was any milestone more like, hey here is an idea of how the Cobb flash performs. Seems like good info for a lot of people looking and comparing tunes.

I think it is quite easy to trap over 112mph on 91 octane with the same weight as your car, and far less mods. (On fairly low boost) Getting traction is another thing. 1 series seem to have better traction with their short wheelbase and weight transfer. I think I trapped 112mph on 91octane perhaps with a tiny bit more boost, but I still had stock intercooler, downpipes, and exhaust. Traction aside, do a 60-130 pull, and see how it compares to some of the other cars.

I agree the 135i tends to hook up better then the 335i.

Ive driven the same car mod for mod (including tires) and my personal 335i always has less traction available from the dig.

Taken from my youtube library, LOL.

Car has totally stock exhaust, down pipe, intercooler, air filter, etc. 19" Generals. 12.5 sec ET with a 2.1 60' time. Car should be capable of running a 12.0 on 91 octane with a 1.8 sec 60' time. (better tires). No traction with 1st gear, so launch was made from 2nd gear!

Car ran 11.82 at 117.9 mph on 105 octane and JB3 map #7 at the drag strip

That damn coupe ran strong! 133mph in the qtr (actual Vbox). Sedan is only running 128.6mph vbox now with the same mods and a bigger shot.

You know what is funny about that video? Your times simply cannot be matched. Just to put things into perspective for you. In the 5 years the n54 has been out, not 1 person has cracked 120 in the tri state area outside of lost marine who did 121ish at 19psi on RB TURBOS dosed in meth and ms109 race gas.

He went to the same track I just did and trapped 115-116mph on 93 octane.

So we have hotrod who hits 115mph on a bone stock car on 91 octane lol
And we have lostmarine who whit 116mph on a fully bolted car, on upgraded turbos runnin 93 octane.

He's running meth + nitrous, isn't he? Although I personnally don't see why one wouldn't upgrade the basic bolt-on stuff first.
