They are steel. Aluminium rods normally only used in short distance high RPM competition vehicles since they fatigue and must be replaced periodically. I think I've read about a new Audi or some other car using ALU-rods.

Once again, 06/2007 build. What do u guys think? I would hope I have firged but id there any way of knowing by the build date without actually opening up my engine because acvkrding to an earlier post they stopped making them forged the month after mine was built, so its pretty closr to the limit...who knows?

mostly... At least, that's what have been said till now, but 90% confirmed the old built dates n54 uses forged pistons.

Fawk this is like seeing an Asian girl with enormous tits with her clothe on. You wont know if they are real or not until you take it apart. I will just wait until something breaks plus i dont think our engine cant take 450rwhp/tq. Im not here to make 600 to tje wheel so..
