Are you able to put specific usernames on ignore on this board? I was on a board a long time ago that had that feature and it was useful. The thread would look normal except the ignored usernames posts simply wouldnt appear.

Here is a good explanation of vishnu's implementation of PROcede on the haltech shell. VARs are extremely common in the tech industry.
Value-added reseller From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A value-added reseller (VAR) is a company that adds some feature(s) to an existing product(s), then resells it (usually to end-users) as an integrated product or complete "turn-key" solution. This practice is common in the electronics industry, where, for example, a software application might be added to existing hardware. This value can come from professional services such as integrating, customizing, consulting, training and implementation. The value can also be added by developing a specific application for the product designed for the customer's needs which is then resold as a new package. The term is often used in the computer industry, where a company purchases computer components and builds a fully operational Personal Computer system usually customized for a specific task such as non-linear video editing. By doing this, the company has added value above the cost of the individual computer components. Customers would purchase the system from the reseller if they lack the time or experience to assemble the system themselves. |

Thanks to Shiv, Calvin, Dustin, et al, we have the best product currently available for the 335 i. Are you guys serious?? Vishnutuning rocks! These guys were great when the Evo came out--I talked to them on the phone more than once, even though I didn't buy at the time. And they're great now. I can't imagine a small company with better customer service.
Did Shiv lie?? NO. NO. NO. It isn't a Haltech interceptor. Period. The firmware and the software are different. Period. Is Haltech the manufacturer--apparently so. So what?? This is insane. Why don't you guys comment about the product. Or better yet--why don't you beat it in a race with the other setup being the same. Oh, I forgot, you can't. ![]() |

![]() No one seemed too concerned when Shiv posted a picture of a Turbo Tuner cracked open without a single phone call to us or even an email. (of course we knew he was going to do that when we shipped it to a person who lived aroudn the corner from his shop) I guess I missed something in the two situations. I am the first to defend his rights to protect his propritary technology and data, but it should go in both directions. IMHO Jeff Eurobahn |

+1!!! I posted in another thread that I was willing to line up against Terry Burger/SFValley/whoever when I drive out to Cali sometime this summer. Prove once and for all. Secound about all this BULLSHIT about who makes what etc etc. When I go buy a BMW I dont spend hours asking BMW exactly who made what part and who outsourced what. Guess what? It really DOES NOT freaking matter. You are dealing with the person/company who sold it NOT the manufacturer. As long as they are a standup company I dont give a shit if its made in a shop in mongolia. I have been using Shiv's products since he started with BMWs back in the old beta days. Shivs work is secound to none. He takes care of the customer better then 99.9% of shops I have dealt with. And he is actively working on upgrading his current product with more power and more features (WITHOUT having to pay more for this!!!!). I DEFINATELY dont think many other shops will be doing this. Most of them just find a decent "base" product and sell em nothing more. No updates their done. All this bashing crap is getting old and tired. Find something better to do. Mat |

obviously you crawled out from under a rock somewhere, because if you go back to before my fuel pump died, you would see that I am very fond of Vishnu, and have planned to buy a PROcede since the very first "first attempt we "tooned" a 335" thread.... Just because I dove into the technical workings of the product, does not mean that I am trying to hurt it... jeeze, I thought it was exciting to see... I am glad the PROcede is based on a haltech product |
