Two are always better than one! let's examine this shall we... I'd rather have two balls than one (twice as much fun and twice the speed of recovery rate in bed), two boobs on my girlfriend (because a cyclops boob would be scary and weird), two beers instead of one (because double fisting is cooler than fist pumping with your spare hand), two eyes (see cyclops boob for explanation), two bass drums (see my screen name)... I think I've made my point very clear! :-D

Make sure I said what you are claiming I said, and not something along the lines of they spool similar, except our turbos flow quite a bit more, etc. You just said I made the claim that our stage 3 spools as fast as your single. I will anxiously await seeing where I said that. Thanks..
I'm not trying to be a jerk but how can you not remember typing this:

You wrote (on this forum):
"Here is an overlay of the (Vishnu/FFtec) ST 58 which is the smaller turbo which is going to spool faster then there (sic) 62 meaning more torque earlier. As you can see the torque curves are near identical until 4250 where our turbos just pull away. Keep in mind, this single is maxed out between 620-640 HP where our turbos are rated for 425 each so 850 worth of flow potential. Yet they spool as fast as the 58"

Thanks Dave W

Still trying to sell that Vishnu single turbo kit I see. Going to be an even harder sell now that vargas released pricing on their stage 3's. If I were you I'd hold on to it, might be worth something someday

Why am I worried about a $7000 kit that doesn't include all the hardware, and is only good till Friday? My kit includes Procede, meth, intercooler, chargepipe and Forge DVs, but hey - thanks for the plug.

I'm making a comparison to the turbo's in this market. This is just getting crazy in the forums.
Tuners, send me info on them. (Price, kit, size, power, etc)

tony, dont post shit else until you have your glory runs on full race gas and meth so the power curves, afr, timing, ect is dead on perfect. Thats how the single kit was marketed when it was developed so fair is fair. You have nothing to prove here IMO, 99 percent of these people posting didnt buy a single turbo solution and likely the same amount are not in the market for a stage 3 solution so dont let them piss on your parade. This kit is a tremendous achievement and will be the main choice for people looking to push this platform to the limits. I would be curious to see dyno results from the first week of tuning on the singles (pre production vs pre production) and I think the results speak for themselves. Also keep in mind that the tuning is being done remotely with limited time on the dyno. Tony keep up the great work, when your done with this end of the project and have time to look into the 135i fitment I am greatly interested.

I was comparing to my personal sale, which 805beemer was targeting, if that wasn't clear.

edit: Sorry for going off-topic. This thread is about spool-up. I only entered because Dave W. found exactly what I was going to post (which hasn't been responded to). It doesn't even make sense to be comparing intro pricing.

I dont know why everyone is out to get these cars on the dyno? What is it going to prove? They both have a handful of turbo options and it's just a different way to kill a chicken like anything else. There will always be something to bicker about. The wheels arent the same. The tires arent the same. The car has more mileage... blah blah. The injectors were recently recalled. The fuel pump is on the fritz.....

You either want a single turbo setup or a twin turbo setup.....

Only on e90 post....

Tony has a business to run and because he posted the results proving that his concept works he is now getting cash flow in. Not releasing the info would have delayed the project by three weeks until Jake flies in and more people would have ended up with an alternative upgrade since its spring already and sales are picking up. So in short, what you are saying does not make sense at all. What did he lose? Nothing. Quite the opposite. He won a lot.
