See the new post that I added to my Sony/Metabones/Canon review: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1416934 I am going to buy the Sony G-Master 100-400mm and their 1.4x. I think it'll be even faster and closer to 100% reliable.

I walked six-miles yesterday evening, looking for bucks, with no luck, until, after sundown, on the way to my car, I ran into this big boy:
Ready To Rumble by David Stephens, on Flickr Shot at ISO 20000, with the Sony a9.

While I can't get my wife to pose for photos, she will occasionally be my hand model! Wildflower at Point Reyes, California.

Young Buck Jumps Fence - 5 of 19 by David Stephens, on Flickr
I bought Sony's G Master 100-400mm lens to go with my a9 body, so now I can shoot 20-frames per second and get them all in focus. If you'd like to see the whole series, it's here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dcstep...h/37265811671/ BTW, this is at ISO 8000, before the sun was up, but twilight was strong.

My new lens arrived today, so i quickly ran outside to see what i could shoot.
Our local kookaburra flew in to say hello and pose. This straight out of camera except for a slight crop. Nikon D800e, Zeiss 135mm f/2 Sonnar, 1/320, f/2.0, ISO 800

Ut oh. It looks like the new owners of Flickr are starting the process of flushing it down the toilet. My BBCode and HTML links to images are now only showing as links, not images.
As usual, there's not a word from Flickr about the change. I've asked a friend that Moderates several forums if she's heard anything, but no response so far. Let me know if you hear anything.
