During a pull to 100, the manifold temp only went up 28 degrees, which isnt huge. Image what it will do in 80 degree weather.

I know upgraded ICs help with less drop in psi from turbo to engine to decrease the work its doing, but its not going to increase power.

Well, was your question about increasing power? I understood it more a question of extending the power band beyond 5500.

Interesting seth, I really want to hold off until we get outside the salting season as that just eats away at the wax and sealant, but I dont want to say its out of the questions.

Al, I guess it was a question i know the answer too. Our cars aren't meant for the high rpm power like a NA engine. I really love to wind the engine out and its just so sad up top compared to the 3000 to 5000 power range.

ha, yea, 140 is crazy.

100 on our highways is barely over the flow of traffic at times.

I wouldnt push 140 unless I was on a deserted road where only I could hurt myself.

yeah wanna set up another showcar detail appointment? i just got lightly scraped in the city most likely a parallel parking incident that i'm curious to see if a detail could take away the mark.
