LED or non? I have the GP thunders. Cheap ($18 on Amazon), not yellow, and fade in/out. Hoping they can be coded to full brightness.

Side note, I installed my Performance high-kick spoiler this weekend and cleaned the DCI filters. Betalink everywhere. FML. Pics to follow.

Haha oh man, reminds me of when I installed mine

I did, for the first half. Then the gloves got covered, so I went raw.
Noted, buy a box of disposable gloves and keep swapping them out.

All I know is I bought the GP thunders I thought were right and I took off the wheel well and found this gem:

BTW whoever designed the BMW headlight should be shot.

http://www.uobd2.net/wholesale/angel...FW4R7AodjhQA5Q <--those look like a cheap replacement. It's for the wife's E90 so while I would like them white they don't have to be super bright. Again I really don't want to spend more than $50 bucks but i'm willing to look at alternatives.

Z the spoiler looks good. How was the wheel cleaner?

Thanks. The wheel cleaner works really well. I could've let it sit a bit longer, but was worried about it drying. I want to invest in a good brush that can get past the rotors. Wheel woolies are way too expensive though.

I have no idea about E90 bulbs. Sorry!

On ramps/off ramps are a blast.

As soon as we hit a couple uneven parts of pavement in your car, I was sold. I was expecting back breaking, jarring ride, and that is just not the case at all.

My stock parts were definitely very tired after 46k miles.

Not to sound arrogant, but is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that the grammar, spelling, and attitudes seem to be noticeably better in our little corner than in the rest of the forum? The NY and CA subforums seem to be particularly bad.

I seriously wonder how people who can't use decent grammar, tell their homophones apart, or even put together a legible sentence manage to afford these cars.

I assume you mean an interior rattle noise? If so, firmly grasp the headrest when it happens and see if it goes away. It took me ages to figure out where one of my rattles was coming from, and it turned out to be the passenger headrest. I had it resolved for a while by wrapping the headrest posts in electrical tape so it would sit very tightly in the seat, but sadly it's come back.

I also have one in the steering column somewhere (had it fixed for a while with styrofoam wedged in the gap between the steering column and the surrounding area, now I need to get all the foam out somehow), the center radio control stack region, and one from who knows where in the back. The rattles never seem to actually come from where it sounds like they're coming from, it drives me absolutely insane.

You guys aren't listening to your music loud enough! Just kidding... but that is my fix.

As far as the posting grammar... I'd say the cars aren't too cheap yet. Also from what I've seen, most of the younger guys around are usually in the Boston area for school.

See my video in post #1032. It's in the seat somewhere, but I can't figure out where... And the dealer had the car for several days with no success.
