Guess I should have known better than to expect frequent updates.

Yay good news. When can we expect shipment then? Will the people who received the early version of the skirts get them first? What about for the people who got the damaged skirts during shipping (like me)?

That's fair. I just think that a weekly update with some pictures, time estimates, what's going well vs. what's not, is not to much to ask for.

They have thousands of dollars of people's money, and it is very simple to log on, type some updates, and log back off.

Well... let's be honest, these skirts are coming along slowly, at best. However, they ARE coming along, and whether it's a 2 week or 6-month wait, they will eventually be here... and I can attest to the high quality of this product (as I received one of the first batches in late '08). The build quality and paint quality are out of this world...

if you want some M3 sideskirts, even a 6-month wait is worth it to have a high quality-perfect fitting sideskirt... Personally, I'd wait a year for a good sideskirt than live with an ill-fitting sideskirt that made my car look like a piece of trash... just my 2 cents.

Totally agree. I think there are some newcomers (like me) who are just now going through the antsy phase. I'm sure it will pass in a few months. LOL

Exactly.

I'm sure some of you can get a set of the old skirts if you don't feel like waiting...

I dated an old skirt once. Okay, maybe twice, but hey, I learned things.

These look amazing on the car and whenever the good fitting ones are available, they'll definitely be worth the way. Thats being said, I had to tape the drivers side rear because it came without the last clip, so hurry up! lol

Am I missing something here? The OEM M3 sideskits can be had for $260 primed... Is there a fitment issue?

Yes. They have to be adjusted all sorts of ways to fit an E92.

The skirts have not been painted yet, however I am going to see if I can get any unpainted installed pictures of the skirt before we bring them to the dealership to paint.

Not sure what you find funny... I read your post... You simply stated that Mach wrote the same news twice about 2 weeks apart... I had assumed you took the next logical step and concluded that things were moving along slowly... which is the problem I addressed in my response.

man i can not wait to get the new revised driver's side skirt. Mine looks like ass right now, but I've been patiently waiting, directing my attention to other mods. Now it's back to these skirts again, once they are complete, I'm done with ext. mods!
