I've been looking for yellow-toned bulbs for my outside lights. Something that wouldn't attract too many bugs and not be annoyingly bright, but still cast some decent light around the door areas. My goal is to use my cams in full color mode instead of B&W/IR mode. I gave one of these a shot today. On the cams, it looks brilliant white and allows the cam to stay in daytime mode. But to my eyes, it looks yellow, like the other bug lights I have. And it doesn't seem to me to be any brighter, yet the cams really work well with it. It remains to be seen how long this will last, but if it lasts a few months at least, I may replace all my outside light bulbs with one of these. $12.50 at Home Depot.

I have the same bulbs on our patio, but the other end of the spectrum (bright white 3,000K) for a different application (maximizing light).

How long have you had them? I'm hoping these last a while.

We got them late last year (I believe Sept / Oct). We don’t use them daily, but if most other LEDs we have are any indication, I expect them to last several years.

Lights, anyone?

Not my picture, the Fitorch P25 Little Fatty LED Flashlight in red (anodized aluminum, I believe) with 3000 yes 3000 lumens!!! Actually, the beam is pretty wide with the four LEDs, so it doesn't seem that bright, but it's a neat form factor and I kind of collect flashlights.

Hard to tell from the picture, but it's a short stubby flashlight that easily fits in the palm of your hand. The included battery is rechargeable.

Since most LED flashlights come in black, I tend toward the colored ones now.

FibraMent pizza / baking stone with metal flame diverter for use on the grill. Test drive tonight. Still have Emile Henry round and rectangular stones but the round one is really difficult to clean, despite its “proprietary glaze” that is supposed to make it easy to clean and allows cutting right on the stone.

So I've been rocking a Beard for the past year. And being the consummate, well groomed metrosexual that I am, I've made sure to increase my arsenal of beard utensils. These 2 items have worked wonders and I highly recommend them to all my beard guys.

Bought some vinyl overlays for the push start in my Taco. Keep pressing the 4x4 button, and the engine doesn't start

Red background with black logo
Teal background with white logo

All four are interchangeable, so will have several options for $10.

Your timing is uncanny. The set arrived yesterday afternoon (nearly two weeks earlier than expected).

I ordered the Tuscany Luxury Edition which, as you probably already know, uses upgraded 20000 leather instead of the 11000 leather.

I am not disappointed with anything. If I had to pick something, the Moonlight Blue isn't as dark or as Navy blue as I was hoping but it's not unappealing. The comfort is off the charts but, in the spirit of full disclosure, I was pretty miserable in my previous chair. The foam cushioning is leaps and bounds better than my Fortress chair. It's firm yet soft. The leather is soft and supple and the matte finish with the contrast stitching puts it over the edge.

Valencia seems to offer an awful lot of features for a lot less money than a lot of other manufacturers. And it was the too-good-to-be-true thing that had me so nervous about buying it sight unseen. In the end, I'm glad I made the move.

I paid around $3100 for the seating and a couple of accessories (two wine holders). Knowing what I know now, if I had sat in this in a showroom and the price tag was $4999, I would've bought it.

Dell Optiplex 7000 Micro for Wifey. Her older Optiplex is showing its age and will be relegated to being her shipping PC (scale, printer, Stamps.com, etc).

This new one has an i7, 16GB RAM, a 512GB SSD, and Win10 Pro. And unlike her older one, which had some bizarre download issues, this one is fast as stink. I still wish she'd move to Macs, but her work machine is a PC, so she wants to stay consistent.

Nice review. That is exactly the version in looking into.
And in this particular color.... Royal Cognac. I am obsessed with this particular shade of brown. Whether it's shoes, belts, car interior, etc.

My wife’s like that too. She’s always been Windows, I’ve always been Mac.

I gotta say that I picked this one off the shelf for two reasons, neither of them good. The store clerk said it was fantastic and since taste is a very personal thing that's poor reason #1. I was intrigued by the name Gunpowder and Rose which is a terrible way to choose something like a new rum so that's poor reason #2.
Once I crack the seal and have a taste I'll get back to you with my opinion, FWIW.

New chair for the Asheville condo. It was supposed to go in the bedroom but it doesn’t quite work there so no we have officially cluttered up the living room.

So, for (Easter, Mother's Day, just because) you are buying her 2@32GB RAM chips and throwing away the 16???? Even everyday staffers that write email and MAYBE a Word document here and there get 32GB, even with the 3xxx Optiplex.

The bottle neck with her current 16GB RAM machine is download speed. No idea why that is happening, since internal network speeds are high. But I'm sick of trying to fix it, hence the new machine. And RAM is cheap, so if we need to bump it to 32GB, it'll be easy enough.

If she were saving data to a 5000 RPM drive, then getting that SSD fixed whatever issue she had. With ethernet cards at 1GB, they aren't the bottleneck.
