absolutely

and i hate clear bras because they get in the way and unless the paint is perfect underneath the paint will NEVER look perfect, plus it always distorts the color and changes the reflections

Understood. As a professional, I do value your opinion on this so please understand that I am simply asking the question here. I was planning on getting the car detailed and have as many of the imperfections addressed first, then having the clear bra applied - winter prep on the rest. Ultimately, isn't that better for the paint/finish than allowing all the chips and scratches to occur? Even if it has some of the effects you noted?

depends on your values. I'd rather take the money that i would have with a clear bra and respray the front every 3 years than have a clear bra

yeah i agree, and sometimes clear bra discolors and makes it look worse

Yeah KFC was good last night, I can't wait to go home and use my camera i just dropped it off at my parents and left haha
