Wow just stumbled on this thread and didn't bother reading comments (lazy Monday and I assume OP has been given great advice) but to the OP, have you been able to reach out to your friends (especially female friends) to help you move on?

I feel a little bad about high-jacking the thread, but watches are more important than someone's feelings (sorry smoosh ) Just to clarify (and I will limit my clarification to a single point), just because posers do something, does not mean that everyone that does that thing are posers. Rolex just has a different philosophy than the brands I prefer. Also, being in sales, I run into 9.4 trillion douchebags wearing Rolex's. (Okay, that was 3 points, but trust me, that was the model of restraint.)

How about "Epic organic inclusion"?

Why not put 3 popular words together and turn a negative into a positive?

Haha... giveaways! I want you to know, I googled this for you. So, if someone comes on here called Mrs_jtodd_fl and wants to know why I've been googling "what is the new name for STDs", I expect a full defense by all you people! Apparently, "Disease" was deemed to be too taboo, so they are now STI's (Infections, rather than diseases.) And here, I thought that was a space program to shoot down incoming ICBMs or perhaps a project to find alien life, but no... is the new STD.

Edit: My vote for new name is "chaser".

Lol, this reminded me of something I noticed over the years. 90% of the people I see who wear Rolex's (usually SS Daytona's and GMTs) still use their phones to tell time. Those with platinum Rolex's usually got to that point by actually using a watch...

Clearly. I just can't rock VC's for my lifestyle and the GMT and SS Daytona fit my personality and needs.

Haha don't feel bad, it's definitely distracting me.

just throw in a little advice once in a while, and maybe a "you pussy ass beetch, how did you stay with her for that long," and keep it going for the next week please...then I'll be golden haha

every time I keep thinking about texting her, I go to this thread for an update and remind myself not to, and it's working!!

OP, serious question: do you have close friends that you have discussed this situation with? I just always wonder about folks who endure things like this and choose to take to the internet for opinions.

Not saying it's a bad idea since you are surely not going to be judged based off of the existing notions anyone has about you, personally. But JW.

I will add this;

WHEN you're with your next girl, don't let your past dictate that relationship. What I mean is, go into the relationship with full trust and faith and not doubt and apprehensions. You can ruin a perfectly good relationship cause of your doubts and hurts from the past.

I could sit here and share a lot of stories but I will spare everyone a sob fest. Long story short, even though none of the ex's ever cheated on me per se with other guys, there is more than one way in which someone can betray your trust. Let's just say that I got married just over 6 months ago and have never been happier. Part of my life will feel like a movie if I got into it but the point is that you WILL be happy eventually. You've got to have respect for yourself and I don't care how you feel about a girl, you SIMPLY DO NOT TAKE BACK A GIRL WHO CHEATS ON YOU. Goes both ways to any ladies reading this as well.

You WILL be fine, you WILL move on, you WILL be happy again. Take this time to yourself and assess your needs and wants and then get back in the dating game. Before meeting my wife and after the fiasco with my ex (who I was in love with for like 8 years), it took me a good 2 years to move on. In that time I met a lot of different girls but could never forget my ex and devote myself to the new person completely. That is until my now wife stumbled into my life and it was like an instant fix from there. The point is, eventually you will find the right person that will make you forget about all the pain and misery you feel right now.

Just have faith.

I do have close friends, and they know what's going on. I broke up with her last thursday and held a rooftop party on saturday. They all knew what was going on and all of them offered advice and we had a good time on saturday night.

but as I said, we've broken up and gotten back together so many times, I've lost count. I told them every time we'd break up and get back together. I know they're getting sick of hearing about it, and I don't want to keep pestering them about it. They told me a while ago to leave her and move on, but I didn't.

so, I figured, why not pester the internet about it? haha

Excellent point. My one bit of advice is to not beat yourself up over what you have done so far. What you do from this point forward is how you should judge yourself. You can waste a ton of emotional effort on what you wish you would have done. Re-direct that into what you should do now. Look forward, not back.

You sooo didn't describe our meet on Saturday.

Also, OP. Run from this relationship. This is far too toxic for it to be healthy for you.

Find something to take your mind off, be busy. That is the most important thing. Stay busy.

Bottom line is it's very unlikely that any two people will be "the" right match for one another, so it takes meeting many people to find the right one. This is true when you are young, or old.

Cheating is something else altogether--it seems to be acceptable now. Wasn't really in my single days, would be embarrassing.
