On the clamps...they are literally $50 each if you check the part #'s...no cheapy clamps. They are bulldog strong and very secure in gripping air tight. |

If this exhaust was around when I got my Bastuck, I may have selected this instead. Its mean sounding, loud enough, and looks great! Great choice.

Any long term updates on this exhaust? I'm thinking of picking this up next month for my 335xi.

The E90 version is longer and I think goes above the crossover box. I am sorely tempted.
United BMW has this exhaust on sale now. Anyone with experience with the E90 Perf exhaust? Pics of the whole system laid out on the floor? I agree with the post commenting on all the weird bends and crimps in the stock exhaust. Note though that you can stick a rod straight through the pipe to the inlet on the E90 muffler. As much as I like the idea of sticking with BMW parts, I think there is more power to be gained and weight to be lost from a unit that attaches at the flange by the DPs.

Can someone say early Formula 1 @ 3500 to 4500 rpm ?
I must admit this exhaust is so sexy i love to ride with the sound system on low volume and with the window down and the sunroof open. A close friend of mine has a new M3 and heard my car pass by __ he ask to take a ride just to listen to it. That impressed me I work at the airport at night and the tunnel passes are AWESOME!!!! |
