Very nice written DIY. Lookds difficult to do the rails though, wondering how it will hold up in the small edges inside.

I saw you used Avery, is it the one it wil "stick" when you apply pressure?

The rails were the easiest part of it. Lol. Took me 10 mins each, and they're holding up well after a year and a half. I didn't cut the roof rack doors for a cleaner look. I used Avery.

Tried 3m and Avery dennison. Avery is the way to go especially for people with minimal experience. Knifeless tape where the rails are to minimize cutting your paint.

Hello, thanks for the write up. I was wondering if anyone had an issue with water (coming through the shark fin) since the chance?
I plan to use 3M VHB 5952F tape for remounting. Anyone experience with that type of 3m tape?
