it wasn't just you - it went down soon after i posted last night. other than the notice that said it was undergoing maintenance i haven't seen any mention of it in the site maintenance section of the forum.

in any case, any new pics?

i talked to the trucking company this morning (Waggoners) to see if my car made it on a truck - and it did! at 10am this morning it was in los banos and had one stop to drop cars before my dealership in salem, oregon. the dispatcher expects it to be in salem tomorrow evening or monday morning at the latest. sweet! :rocks:

Received the call this afternoon, car came in Friday evening, getting tinted today and ready for delivery tomorrow at 3! I will gladly miss the AFC game for the car, I hate the pats and colts anyway!

i'll have to entertain myself with the playoff games for today and hope the truck with my car makes good time to my dealership.

i seem to remember a couple of those as well! at the time i said: "nah, that won't happen this time!" i suppose that shows how well i do in vegas...

My dealer called me on Saturday morning and said my car arrived Friday night and I could take delivery Monday evening. I'm in the Bay area, so I'm suprised more of you have not yet had similar phone calls.

I got to the dealership and picked her up today!

I drove her home in a crazy rainstorm with snow flurries and ice....dude I live in Phoenix.

They didn't have time to put the tint but I'll get it done next weekend....this car is amazing....see my post under the photo/media area!!

Guys It's certainly worth the wait. FWIW I think I like the order and anticipation time. However if it was a vehicle any less than the 335 it would surely disappoint

i called my CA early this morning and ITS IN!!! i'm picking her up at 3pm today! :rocks:

it did come in yesterday and they are prepping it now. now i just need to make sure i don't forget anything in my excitement on my way to the dealership!!! lets see now: check book - check, camera - check, drool rag - check...

sorry to disappoint on pics! by the time i got everything done it was way too dark to get good pics.

this car is definitely AWESOME! its so much better to have my own. the deep green is VERY dark and i'm really liking the colors all around. when i first came out of the dealership i thought they'd brought around someone else's jet or saphire black 335i just to tease me. did a double take when i saw the tints of green in the angles of the light. very sweet. it was getting low on light so that contributed to how dark it looks but it will be tough to catch that in pics - especially for a real novice point and clicker like me.

i've already made my first mods - added the leather short shift knob and my proclip mount for my treo. nothing serious - thinking about debadging it to make it even less conspicuous on our university campuses...

now i'll see if i can get any sleep tonite - i couldn't sleep for the longest time last night in anticipation and now i'm wired after getting it. oh well, sleep is over rated anyway.
