I found myself leaving it in 3rd for some of the slower turns just to help keep power/torque in check. The best part is that the car felt consistent for the entire session. It never felt like it was losing power as the session ran on, and these were 30 minute sessions.
Wait until you try running a track day with a PWM meth kit

These maps seem great so far. I had to reprogram my foot a little bit.

I upgraded my Procede to rev2a 6-14 DCT and related firmware today.
I have n54 e92 335i with DCT, stockish turbo, Okada coils, custom everything.
Little bit confused about 6-14 as i have some slight power drop-out drop-in issues during partial throttle (maybe procede tries different ignition???) - will test after 10pm on WOT as well and will send e-mail directly to Shiv.

This is not the first time, when maps for n54 DCT has some issues.

Recently i used 03-30 DIC GAS X BETA 400 0DEG from Shiv, which was so far the best map for my DCT ever. Except two issues: 1, sometime boost solenoid farting noise reappeared on idle, and 2, during WOT on MAP 1 with 11psi i consequently hade limp mode and 29F2 HPFP error code (never had any HPFP error on any other map, even with 16psi, only had 2 times in the past three months during cold startup..., so i dont know, wheather my HPFP is on his way out. My car was produced in april of 2009 and has 55k km)

Anybody with 6-14 map and n54 DCT?

If you are getting HPFP codes, then it's likely you have a faulty HPFP. There's really nothing the map itself can to do trigger that code. It would likely explain your power drop outs. There is nothing new that the Procede is doing with respect to timing.

Lastly, please read the Read me file. It clearly states to email all issues to me directly.

How do these feel compared to the 12-17 maps. Trying to figure out if I wanna run these new ones or stick with the auto tunning for meth on the 12-17.

everyones ass-dyno is calibrated VERY different... 99% of the time people are experiencing things completely in their mind. Just run the map yourself and see how you like it.

6-14 maps are great shiv ESP coming from 3-30. No more bog on shifts on my 6mt. My big problem is keeping my computer connected while updating. I bought the cable from radio shack(2nd cable) and it still disconnects. I put the computer in xp mode and did the performance mode and nothing. I keep having to bug my friends for the use of their xp laptops. Any suggestions. It was nice talking to you today on the phone. The meth kit is 90 percent done just need to get those connectors. Everything went smooth. First time takes the longest and it will be a breeze the next.

Anyone else still get low boost codes under very light throttle? I'm still getting that problem but the check engine light goes away after about 30 seconds. My car runs great so I don't think I have an actual problem with the car.

And after a few lines...:
-You must use the attached firmware with these new maps (pro5v104_2.bin).

And then:

-As with previous beta DIC maps, Autotuning and Procede traction/launch control are current disabled for the time being.

And after a few lines:

-Enabled Procede Traction Control. You can adjust the sensitivity by the Traction Threshold user adjustable. 100% turn it off. Lower values turn it on and make it more sensitive. I suggest running 30-40% which allows for some small bit of wheelspin before intervening and dropping boost.

The first is a copy/paste mistake wich is 2-3 times repeated (thats why readme first should never be copy pasted) what about the second?
Shiv, can you pls. fix the read me and let us know?

Since many of us are suffering from WG-rattle before the PROcede is waking up due to the cold oil temp, I asked Shiv to activate the Rattle Fix right from the beginning.

Right now it's very embarrassing when the car rattles like crazy and sounds like an old Volvo the first 10 minutes.

The Rattle Fix works like a charm, so why not have the opportunity to use it all the time?

As I have "power drop-in/out" on partial throttle at map1 6-14 DIC DCT while my speed and my foot on the gas pedal remain the same level, I went back to 3-30 DIC GAS X BETA 400 0DEG DCT map1 and the car feels brilliant on partial throttle (as well) with the same conditions. No "power drop-in/out", so i dont think the problem is related to my otherwise getting faulty HPFP. I can reproduce this anytime.

Come on DCT guys, please try the 6-14 DIC maps to collect essential experiences.

On the other hand, i downloaded User Software version 5.1. What are the differences between version 5.0 and 5.1? Anybody knows it?
