Well I hope everyone has had a good start to the New Year...I know San Diego has made it a point to just totally end my good start by blowing out and possibly bending my driver front tire & wheel!

I've had that happen 2x to me. Both times I have filed claims with the city and both times they have paid for my repairs + alignments.

One time, it was on my E46 M3 with SSR's and they paid for 2 new SSR's and new pilot super sport tires. With alignment, all told it came to over $3k and they paid up about 6 weeks later.

They'd rather spend money settling claims than fix the roads in the first place.

If it was a city road, you need this form - http://www.sdcounty.ca.gov/CountyCou...ounty-form.pdf

If it was a highway, you need the caltrans form - http://www.dot.ca.gov/damageclaims.htm

I've always gone back and taken pictures of the potholes and attached those
