Finally convinced my buddy to buy a bimmer lol. Little rough on the edges, mostly cosmetic. New clutch, fluids, battery, and a good cleanup should do unless you guys have any more ideas.

It came with a PE and an AFE intake which is mice.

$1200 (being generous), 06 325i 6spd, Saddle Brown? Sport Interior, 272k on the odo

Sorry for the pic spam*

Basically adjust the headlight vertically with speed and cornering as well as horizontally; DOT didnt allow it here.

Looks like Terra interior... will be tough to replace if that's the route he goes.

The PE will be worth half or more of what he paid..

I'd part it out and try to come out ahead instead of trying to save it but that's up to you guys. Looks like it needs a lot of TLC.

Ahhh. Couldn't find any other brown other than saddle and it seemed way too dark but couldn't think of anything else lol. And that was my thoughts as well with the PE. He bought a beat up mazda for 1500 and flipped for 3500 so so far he's technically in the green.

Where we come from we work on shitboxes and don't particularly mind it not being 100% perfect. It never will be. Also the story that goes along with it is worth putting the extra effort into imo.

Yeah its not bad for a project car. You may have also picked some unflattering shots.

I've had success with dying leather pieces to match my Terra so that may be an easier route to take than hunting down that rare colour. Steering wheels are replaceable easily enough, it's the guts that count. Hopefully it has another 300k left in it.

It actually doesn't look as bad as I thought it would be. That wheel the leather can be dyed black again if it isn't damaged and the center plastic trim restored. If the seats aren't ripped you can probably dye them to look pretty nice too. Sometimes a clean and condition does wonders even if it has cracks.

An interior shop would probably do a nice job at least on the driver seat for fairly cheap. Sport package terra with a 6 speed are nice good options

Of course I had to make it unflattering, that way the glamor pics look even better

But seriously it's pretty dirty inside and out. Its gonna take a good afternoon to get it looking right. Gonna need to fix a small tear in the carpet and drivers side seat and I'll probably refinish the steering wheel trim and wrap the whole wheel in a sewn on cover

Just a small tear, though with the right thread I'm confident in my sewing abilities to make it look at least somewhat presentable. I have a friend who details that might be able to lend a hand on restoring the leather as well. And ikr? Not to mention the sparkling graphite exterior

It has a clutch, dying breed there it's well worth saving. I'm doing one with new parts where it matters and better-than-i-have from ebay.

Need a new expansion tank. The float in the Rein ET I got last year likes to stick in cooler weather. If I smack the side of it a few times, the coolant warning sometimes goes away. Tried two new sensors too, and the new sensor will trip the warning even more often than the old. ECS is proving a new one for free.

Installed M Performance aluminum pedals. Still need the dead pedal but they look and feel great. Matches the rest of my car very well too

It’s straight forward. Everything is free, so not sure if you’ve followed that thread.

Once you have the maps just unzip to your USB stick and pop it in the glovebox. Car does everything else for you
