Euro Charged can also do the work. They are near Keele/Steeles area and a member is getting their 335d tuned at EC today.

Let's all call individually. For everyone on this GB that gets in touch with RSW, please post anything new that you find out so that others can be informed as well. |

Yea, I think it will help if you guys are proactive about it and call, that's how I got mine. Only took one phone call. RSW seems to be a very busy shop and has a lot going on. Plus even though we made a list of the 10 guys on here that wasn't necessarily the order of payment which is really what matters. I believe I was near the bottom of the list on here but I was one of the first to pay.....

Pipe is 316L SS. This alloy is known as the work horse of the petro chemical industry. The flanges and bungs are 400 series SS. 400 not quite as tough in terms of chemical resistance but still way ahead if normal steel. I don't see a need for the ceramic either. Stan supplied those details of alloys used Monday by email. The pipe has a lifetime warranty.

JR emailed me a repair form that I had to sign. There was a number on it. What I don't know is whether that number is assigned to me only (likely as it's an agreement that I sign) or is the group number.
Enclosed with my ECU being shipped, I wrote a list of things being coded out, my VIN, and this repair order number. After Jess mentioned turning off speed limiter, I emailed that update and also called JR for verification. I had sport speed limiter at 155 mph prior to coding. I have not tested whether my speed limiter has been removed :-). |

I beleive its the DISCLOSURE form so they wont be harrased by EPA, finally thinking, I suggested they do that thru STAN of course

RSW repair order wording
The below is what we had to sign to get ECU work done. I see 5 things established in it and don't see any connection to EPA nor any waiver absolving them from us using vehicle on public roads. I know you have this axe to grind with Stan but this is a standard Redline form for any work done by them.
1) work authorization 2) permission to drive car on streets, highways, etc for purpose of testing and/or inspection 3) agree to mechanics lien for non payment (we prepaid) 4) not responsible for delay due to parts in-availability 5) not responsible for damage to articles let in car due to theft, fire, or any other cause beyond their control THEIR CLAUSE: " I hereby authorize the repair work to be done along with the necessary parts & materials and hereby grant you an/or your employees permission to operate the vehicle herein described on streets, highways or elsewhere, at your discretion, for the purpose of testing and/or inspection. An express mechanics lien is hereby acknowledged on the above vehicle to secure the amount of repairs thereto. I understand that the dealer/owner is not responsible for delay or other consequence due to the unavailability of parts shipments beyond their control. Not responsible for damage or articles left in the car in case of fire, theft or any other cause beyond our control. WARRANTY IS 12 MONTHS OR 12,000 MILES WHICH EVER OCCURS FIRST, UNLESS SPECIFIED OTHERWISE!" |
