Very soon... Maybe as early as next week. Just have a few more things to test. But solid numbers from the beta cars that are running it.

The events are 1800 miles round trip for me and yes, I was at Shift Sector last April and if you were there, you would have seen me hanging out with Terry. Although we compete, we're still friends... And yes I was running a JB4 last April if you didn't know.

Also, because you feel the need to type blindly about something you know little about, I won the Tier III Tuner Shootout for the 500 HP and below class the prior year running a PROcede and Vishnu E85 flash. Much better piggyback just encase you didn't know that already.

So lets talk about backing it up... I hold the stock turbo world record with an AT no less. BuraQ has a stock turbo full weight car that traps @ 122 mph and consistently 121 mph to back it up. We have the 1/4 Mile XI World Record also. I'm sure there is more to come soon.

So if your car is so fast, post up some 60/130 vBox numbers. I don't need to drive 1800 miles to race you in a half mile event. If you don't have one, there are a lot of them floating around SoCal which I'm sure you can find one. GoPro the run as validation and we can see if you can back it up. When it's all said and done and you want to switch to flash tuning, look me up. I won't hold your post against you, but don't talk about my nuts anymore.
I don't think anyone should attack you guys for wanting to help push the platform even further, I'm just curious why there aren't more logs being posted, and at least not ones that are above e40 or that have e85 helping the timing issues [I mean my engine when I had an n54 was pulling 6 degrees of timing across multiple cylinders with 93 shell gas on just a cobb OTS aggressive map.. Something that cleared up instantly with 3 gallons of e85 lol]. If its really not throwing large degrees of timing on full tanks of 92/93 which seems to be the selling point, shouldn't that be whats being displayed?

BuraQ has been a part of the community for a long time and I definitely trust his track Xp and all the hard work he's put in to helping the community from testing out the dinan FMIC and really pushing lots of things within the community for YEARS.

Also its fair when you create a product to have valid objections/ criticisms and usually the prevailing factor is facts. So while I'm a tad put off by your response to that guy, because honestly I could careless what BuraQ traps, hes a VERY experienced track driver and again, everyone's car's,track conditions, and delta are SOOOO different. Just having that, a dyno [which again various conditions, and a single WOT pull with what appears to be at least a half tank of e85 as a counter-point to criticism doesn't seem to do it [at least for me]... Now if you threw up go pro video whipping Cobb, BMS competition in what would be an apples to apples comparison [I don't think you guys should have to go run a single turbo car, but at least an equally well tuned car with same supporting mods] that's when the consumer will decide if the product is worth possibly an increased risk vs. the competition.

I just think full disclosure should be part of the equatpent vs. M's or other cars... ion, I'm sure most here don't really care, as most don't get radials, LSD, etc. and love to have a dyno queen and argue for the HP per dollar ratio. But it is worth bringing up you know?

Just so happens I'm working on the stage 2 v5 MHD map and we have 92 oct E10 here. My car was on empty when I filled the tank last with 92 just for testing this map, 15.4 gal.

My car, FBO, Automatic with IJE0S. PI is disabled for Stg 2 testing. I also have new injectors. As you can see, I have a minor correction with onset on a single cylinder. Once that recovers I have no other timing corrections through 3rd and 4th gear.

Hopefully this helps. I know I let my emotions get the best of me sometimes, so my apologies if I offended you with my comments.

I'm starting to test the MBoost option for MHD which will allow for boost up to 36 psi. It will scale voltage at 50% after 10 psi. Once I get some logs I'll post a new thread.

Too bad you don't do GTRs too getting ready to tune for 8s in the coming weeks lol.

But the n54 was my first dip into the modding pool and I'll forever follow and potentially get back into it if they can make some progress with the 800+ range.

Any chance you guys will think about releasing a map for those with upgraded twins? I would love to be the BETA car and I already have a pretty good head start.

Due to R&D and hardware cost, we won't have any public beta cars. The solution will be fully tested prior to release on upgraded twins and ST solutions.

So are you saying you will eventually have OTS maps for upgraded twins?

No... Once you get to that level there are too many variables and it will require a customized map.

Hi Wedge,
I know you're an advocate of the tune only approach and the JB4 G5 backend isn't something you would custom tune but am I alone here wanting your amazing skills to be able to have a custom JB4 backend?

I just want to keep the JB4 in the mix for meth control and have the Bluetooth JB4 connect for all the benefits there.

who else is thinking the same thing?

Yes, infact sometimes its soo sensative people have asked us to turn it down

All my 335is tuning was molded to an MT feel as I grew up on MT cars.
Thanks dx. And good news. Hate coming to complete stop then hit the throttle and have to count to two before anything happens. I run the Cobb stage 1 OTS now. Picked up the ER FMIC and CP over Black Friday sales. Now have to wait for Spring to put on car. I'll be in touch before too long. Cheers and Happy New Year.
Another extremely happy Wedge Performance customer. Was working with BuraQ and up to V6 on my custom tune. Then needed unrelated dealer visit and ROM was updated/changed; i.e. my map was now useless.

Less than three days later and just in time for track day I was back in business. Five wonderful five lap segments at Road America and not one code or shadow code.

Much appreciation for what you do and how receptive you are to questions and log evalutions.

I just found this thread, so I'd like to contribute in a positive manner and say I'm very happy with the tuning and responsiveness from Wedge Performance. I ran 12.0's with just a 93 octane tune in +2K DA with stock turbo's and stock inlets running their tune on my traction limited 335i. This could have easily have been an 11 second run in better DA or a better prepped track.

I'll be sticking with WP for a while.

By the way, if it would shut some of the naysayers up if I ran 11's on a 93 octane tune with no meth, corn, aftermarket turbos, or inlets, I'd be more than happy to knock that out real quick once it cools down a little bit. Just let me know.

The Bluetooth connects kits are amazing.

Unfortunately I'm busy enough with just flash tuning. I think you would find that the new flash tunes are much smoother and yet, very aggressive WOT... All around... more driveable.

I hear you
for me I will need meth as I have no ethanol in the UK.

I may have to get a meth controller to try your tune only

There's a firmware Terry made that can use the JB4 for just the features you are mentioning so you can use a custom flash tune as well. Check over on his site.
