It'll fit on a standard DVD, it's 4.33GB. A single-layer DVD holds 4.7GB. Dual-layer holds 7.95GB.

I wonder if our DVD readers can read dual-layer? Has anyone burned music to a DL disc and tried to play it? That would be a good test.

Looks like we are getting more peers. Hopefully someone else can get the whole thing and add another seed.

Thanks for the disc vtec96! The ISO file was tested after it was created this afternoon and appears to work well so there shouldn't be any problems but let me know if there are.

Enjoy!

To all ISO noobs. An ISO is an image of an optical disc such CD or DVD.

What you need:
  • DVD burner
  • Blank DVD
  • DVD burning program
  • ISO image (such as the one you are downloading)
Once you have all the requirements you should be able to just double click on the ISO and the DVD burning program will start a wizard to burn it to disc. It's pretty straight forward from there.

Well said. Once the ISO image is burned onto the disc, there will be 5 folders (full of files and other folders) and three files on the root of the disc. Do not just copy the ISO file onto the disc like you would with a document file or if you create an MP3 disc.

Like tag824 said, it should be pretty straight forward.

If you have a full version it should. I haven't used Nero for a while.

Well I'm just over 6% done and we have 23 folks downloading now. Basically we should all be getting this as fast as we can upload off the single seed. I estimate that we should have the first batch of new seeds running by tomorrow afternoon - anyone that starts their torrent tomorrow should get a pretty fast download. I'm going to stick around as a seed until I've uploaded 5x the file size ~21GB.
