12/15/2016 Update!
Just got the car back from Eric at E-Fab. We've been working on a little behind the scenes skunkworks. With these massive MMP Stage 3's, my 7" VRSF Intercooler was quickly heatsoaking during single gear pulls. Well... IAT problems no more. Now installed is the AD Engineering 1000hp FMIC. I don't plan on nearing that HP limit, but given that I frequently track her (we're talking about the real mans track- the road course ![]() ![]() YUUUUUGE ![]() And now onto the skunkworks :-) we now have the first prototype set of custom fabbed hard piped outlets for the MMP Stage 3's. There have been some posts about silicone outlet failures due to the insane turbo side engine temps and constant expansion/contraction of the outlets. I've had my own concerns about running straight silicone in general on that side of the engine bay. And while straight silicone may work just fine for occasional highway pulls, I wanted to run a motorsports worthy version of outlets that would take any kind of abuse you can throw at them without having reliability concerns. Huge props to Eric at eFab for working his magic :-) sounds like these outlets might be available in the future depending upon demand. A few pics... ![]() Installed ![]() Last edited by sirdaft1; 12-16-2016 at 08:56 AM.. Reason: spelling |

Those are the new MMP DCI filters too, only $60 when added to inlets purchase. They fit much better than the other DCI options and also look better and flow tested them on a flow bench and inlets flow better with the red filters on them than just open pipe due to pipe entry losses when just open pipe. |

Love your car mate.
I'm getting all the maintenance bits done on my car at the moment but ultimately I'm after a super reliable 500whp on 93 pump and yes this is my daily. I'm wondering are the Mmp stage 3s the way without breaking the bank. I'm RHD so singles are tough to come by. Are you happy with your choice of going stage 3 Mmp and did you end up getting a dyno run on pump only and what kind of boost. I'm assuming these turbos are designed for e85 boost levels so pump gas boost around 20psi will be a walk in the park for these. Cheers and love the car. |

![]() I've had quite a few pm's from others asking about my opinion/experience with the MMP's as well. I've now had my MMP3's installed for a little over 4k miles. I love them. Once the replacement turbos were installed (with fixed weld issue documented earlier in this thread), they've been great. I just wanted a solid option to be able to run around with 500whp without breaking a sweat. The sound of these are intoxicating. They easily pull until red line. Lag is minimal (20psi by 3800rpms), but when it hits full boost - you can't help but grin from ear to ear. 1st, 2nd and 3rd are barely usable at this point with 275 PSS's. I've had Dimitri (BQ Tuning) helping me dial in my custom tune. These were his first MMP3's to tune, and he said that he couldn't believe the amount of flow these produce. It also looks like there is a full cast version of the MMP3's expected to come to market sometime around March. If I were in the market for upgraded snails right this moment and didn't NEED to replace my stockers right away - I'd hold off until the cast version comes out, because why not??. Same CHRA and cold side as the current MMP3's but with a wider neck from the mani to the turbo; meaning even better spool ![]() ![]() And I've only done initial dyno testing with these on some questionable fuel. I plan on getting back on the dyno once it warms back up here in Chicago. ![]() Last edited by sirdaft1; 12-22-2016 at 12:39 PM.. |

Hey Matt!
It's awesome to see the build going so well and I'm glad you're getting use out of the winter tire setup ![]() Looks like you probably won't get around to the fine tuning for this setup until the spring, but do you think the stage 2 LPFP setup will provide sufficient fueling for the power gains you're looking for? I know you're looking for dependable and well-rounded power with your build so wasn't sure how far you were looking to push it. Just curious on your thoughts as I'm beginning to look at upgraded twins and top mount options and what supplemental fueling may be needed ![]() |

As for fueling, we will see. It's pretty well documented that the stock fueling after an upgraded LPFP is pretty close to limited around the 500whp mark. At this point your best bet for more power would be to go PI. I personally have some concerns running PI on my daily. I'm holding out for developments to take place on the HPFP end :-) |

Did you ever end up tuning just on 93 pump. I've got no Exx where I am and I'm RHD so singles are hard work so figured biggest twins will do 500 whp. Any thoughts mate? |

My hope is that we can shoot for 500whp on pump and 550whp with an e40 blend, without having to upgrade to PI or meth. |

Your car looks great and I love your documenting. Hands down though, your talent as a photographer is just amazing. I think more so than your mods, your ability to capture them makes it all the more appealing. I so wish I had that talent, as it truley is a talent rather than a skill!
