im not sure all the negotiations are on financial part.. cause Merc' F1 was in a state that wont even need Merc's financial support to run the team almost.. this year or next one in worst scenario Merc' F1 even make money out of F1..

even Nico Rosberg got a Project One.. Merc' surely give one to Lewis and good money.. maybe talks are about environmental topics, BLM, and more about the short and mid future of the team..
